The most popular attraction here is the Castell. The breathtaking view starts during your walk up the hill. Hike through the beautiful nature and forget your everyday stress. The Castell refers to the former city wall, which is completely walkable. At the highest point of the complex, there is a chapel that houses a Gothic statue of Mary. A legend is told about this figure: when the city was attacked again by pirates in the 14th century, the locals sought Madonna's help by placing the statue on the walls. Subsequently, the attackers were allegedly driven away by dense, rising fog. The chapel also houses a 14th-century Christ statue made of orange wood. The impressive defense towers of the fortress can also be visited. Another highlight during your vacation with a holiday home and terrace or apartment, for example in Cala Rajada, are the Coves d'Artà. These Spanish caves are located 50 meters above the coast in a bay near Canyamel. The coastal towns of Canyamel, Font de Sa Cala, Cala Rajada, and Cala Mesquida are called "Cales de Capdepera." Here you will find beautiful beaches, impressive natural landscapes, and the lighthouse Far de Capdepera (close to Cala Rajada). Most of the spots are suitable for your four-legged friends.
