Description
Our holiday home spans 100 sqm and features 3 bedrooms with 6 fixed beds.
A new modern fully equipped kitchen with oven and induction stove, living room with TV (FireTVStick available - Netflix, Prime, Disney etc. accessible with own account) and DVD player, a large bathroom with bathtub and shower, a small guest toilet, and a storage room with washing machine and dryer. We have extensive facilities in the house, so for example, you can explore the park from a water perspective with the Canadian canoe (life jackets available for everyone), play a round of mini golf with our golf clubs, or play a game of KUBB in the garden/on the beach. A charcoal grill is also always available.
A large garden with a terrace and private jetty (perfect for fishing or for your own small boat) and direct connection to the Ijsselmeer. ADDITIONAL CHILD EQUIPMENT:

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in a beautiful holiday park in Makkum by the Ijsselmeer in Holland, sea and beach about 500m away. Particularly suitable for families with children and dogs as a beautiful place to relax. The water at the beach slopes very shallowly, allowing one to walk far into the sea. Nearby, there are many great playgrounds, adventure playgrounds on the beach, a petting zoo (only in summer), bouncy castles/cushions, a beach volleyball court, and much more. The promenade (also within walking distance) offers great restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors, fish snack bars, etc. and simply invites you to linger over a delicious beer or wine while the kids can romp in the sand.
The Frisian town of Makkum (2km from the holiday home) offers everything a vacationer's heart desires:
-Supermarket, bakery, butcher, fishing/pet store, drugstore, toy store, shops and souvenir shops, but also doctors, hairdressers, and pharmacies. Good restaurants, cafes, and pizzerias can be found both in the center and in surrounding small villages.
In the holiday park itself, there is a rental for:

Cancellation terms:
The tenant may terminate the rental agreement before the start of the rental period by providing a written declaration to the landlord. The relevant time is when the termination declaration is received by the landlord. If the tenant terminates the rental agreement, the following fees will be charged: Cancellation up to 45 days before the start of the rental period 35% of the agreed rental amount Cancellation from 44 to 35 days before the start of the rental period 45% of the agreed rental amount Cancellation from 34 to 22 days before the start of the rental period 70% of the agreed rental amount Cancellation from 21 to 11 days before the start of the rental period 80% of the agreed rental amount Cancellation from 10 to 1 day before the start of the rental period 90% of the agreed rental amount If the tenant does not show up without a written cancellation, 100% of the agreed rental price will be charged. The landlord may terminate the rental agreement before or after the start of the rental period without notice if the tenant, despite prior reminder, fails to make the agreed payments (deposit, final payment, and security deposit) on time or otherwise behaves in a manner that makes it unreasonable for the landlord to continue the contractual relationship. In this case, the landlord may demand compensation from the tenant for the expenses incurred up to the termination and for lost profits.

We are Patrick and Patrizia with our 4 kids and the 2 dogs who fell in love a few years ago with the holiday park in Makkum, the various diversities of the seasons, and especially the child-friendly beach. Since 2019, we have been the owners of our own holiday house and have since renovated and furnished it with a lot of love. We want to share this great vacation spot with families and other nice people, and convey to them the same feeling of "home" that we experienced back then.
