Welcome to the holiday home Cottage by the Lake, located in Nieuwe Niedorp. This charming holiday home accommodates up to 4 guests with 70 square meters of living space, including 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and an additional toilet area.
The holiday home is equipped with a range of amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Outside the cottage is a dock for the rowboat and a swimming ladder because the lake is healthy swimming water. At 200 meters there is a public outdoor swimming pool, which is open during the summer season. On the parking lot, secured with cameras, a fixed spot is available for your car. Additionally, there is a charging station for electric cars on the parking lot. You can park your car next to your cottage for a maximum of 15 minutes on the park premises, to load and unload. Enjoy the fresh air on the terrace, which is equipped with comfortable garden furniture. Inside the house, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. The cozy living room includes a TV for entertainment. Games are also available.
A washing machine and dryer are available for your convenience.
The bedrooms are equipped with comfortable bedding and you will find a hairdryer in the bathroom. The property is non-smoking and offers a low-allergen environment for your comfort. The property is located on a lake of about 8 ha in the beautiful holiday park "De Rijd" in Nieuwe Niedorp.
The lake is perfect for fishing, swimming, and boating. Boating on the lake is only allowed without a motor, but with a motor on the canals, of course. The parking lot, secured with cameras, has a fixed spot available for your car. Additionally, there is a charging station for electric cars on the parking lot.
Nieuwe Niedorp is a typical Dutch village. It has facilities and shops about 400 meters away. 2 km to a shopping center. Aldi is about 1 km away from the house.
Within a radius of 3 km there are various restaurants. Nice shopping towns are Schagen (9km) and Alkmaar (20km)
There are many beautiful coastal towns: Callantsoog, Schoorl, Bergen and Egmond, etc., are located on the North Sea. On the IJsselmeer are Medemblik, Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Volendam etc. They can all be reached in about 20 minutes.
A golf course with 18 holes is about 3 km away. There is a public swimming pool right next to the park.

We are Jan and Ria and completely renovated this holiday home in 2024, regularly enjoying our stay by the water. We live just a half-hour drive away, but when we are here, we can swim, sail, stand-up paddleboard, cycle through the beautiful surroundings, and enjoy the peace of the park.
