Description
Well-maintained chalet with pool and garden in a quiet, near-center location. Ideal for an extended, relaxing vacation. Minimum stay 14 days.
The neat and comfortable chalet is located in a quiet and pleasant residential area. Nonetheless, the beach, center, harbor, and promenade are about 15 minutes away on foot. It features a garden and a pool approximately 8 x 3 meters in size, which can be heated for an additional charge. The villa has two bathrooms, one of which is attached to the master bedroom. This is equipped with a double bed 1.5 x 2 meters. The second room also has a double bed of 1.5 x 2 meters and a small desk. The living room is spacious and has a couch and armchair, as well as a large dining table with four chairs. The large kitchen also has a dining area where you can have breakfast comfortably. For coffee enjoyment, there is a Nespresso machine. Attached to the kitchen is a courtyard, where the washing machine is located, and where you can also hang laundry to dry. Directly in front of the house entrance there is a parking space belonging to the villa. German television and internet are available free of charge.

Location and surroundings of object
The Chalet Las Mercedes is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet residential area. There is a parking space for a car on the property. The city center, as well as the Playa Dorada beach, are about a 15-minute walk away. Here, you will also find plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities. From the chalet, there is an unobstructed view towards the sea, of which you can even see a little. Playa Blanca has a many kilometers long seafront promenade that invites you to walk. The impressive Marina Rubicon yacht harbor is also about a 15-minute walk away. Here too, you will find numerous restaurants. Every Wednesday and Saturday, there is a market for fashion, crafts, and much more. The airport in the capital, Arrecife, is 30 km away, and can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. For the journey, it is advisable to rent a car, especially since rental prices in the Canary Islands are really affordable. We have had good experiences with CICAR, where you can rent a car starting from approximately 120 euros per week. You can rent a fully insured vehicle for 100 Euros a week. The chalet is easy to find. When you reach the first roundabout in Playa Blanca (with gas station and mill), turn left. At the end of the road, turn left again, and then take the next right. The chalet is at the end of the road on the right side.

Not too much promised
A holiday home that delivers everything as advertised. The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet the beach and the promenade are easily reachable on foot. The house is very well equipped, making you feel truly comfortable. We had a great time and can only recommend the property. Surely, it won't be the last time.
The landlords are very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful vacation
We found exactly what is shown in the pictures, a very well-kept, clean house with a beautiful outdoor area. We were able to use the wonderful pool almost daily thanks to the pool heating. Everything necessary for a nice vacation is available. The kitchen equipment was top-notch. We missed nothing. There are also plenty of towels available. The promenade of Playa Blanca is easily reachable on foot. There are many restaurants, cafés, and shops there. Shopping: Lidl. 5 minutes by car; Aldi is likely opening around the corner in January; several smaller supermarkets in the city. Parking is available right at the doorstep. Our hosts were always accessible to us and very friendly. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

Our home in Lanzarote
After a long search, we found our home in Lanzarote in 2019 with Chalet la Mercedes, and since then, we have spent many weeks in the bungalow of our friendly hosts Rüdiger and Isabel each spring and autumn. After Rüdiger and Isabel moved their primary residence from Madrid to Lanzarote in May of this year, we were also able to meet them in person during our last stay in October. Rüdiger, with his reserved, calm, North German demeanor, and Isabel, humorous with her Spanish temperament, were, as in previous years, always available to us for any questions.
Now, regarding the house and the surroundings. These have been accurately described in previous reviews, and we have nothing to add.
We highly recommend the chalet. Guests will not be disappointed and will experience a great vacation in a beautiful house, with a generous pool and outdoor area. We are already looking forward to our next stay in March 2025 and hope to spend many wonderful vacations at Chalet la Mercedes in the coming years. Willi and Karin Sonneborn

Beautifully maintained house with its own pool.
The Chalet Mercedes is a very beautiful house, and we already feel almost at home there. Everything one needs for everyday life is available. The rooms are cozily furnished and provide a comforting feeling. We were there in September and could wonderfully sit outside by the pool every evening and enjoy the peace. The house is located at the end of the street, so there is no traffic there. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking. Towels are sufficiently available and a washing machine is located in the patio.
Television is also no problem, as several German programs are available.
The two bathrooms (one with a shower, the other with a bathtub) are well equipped.
In addition, ALDI will open nearby and LIDL at the entrance of the town at the beginning of 2025.
The old harbor and the marina, where there are numerous establishments, are within walking distance. It is particularly noteworthy that the homeowners are always reachable and ready to help.
The next stay in Chalet Mercedes is already booked!

Great location and everything perfect
The outdoor pool area is heavenly.
It is very well located, 5 minutes from a wonderful beach and the Rubicon marina, with shops and restaurants.
Fully equipped and nothing is missing, with air conditioning and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen amenities are very complete.
Everything is very clean.
Very nice and attentive hosts.
The price-performance ratio is perfect.
It is absolutely recommended, without any doubt, we will return.

We have spent the last few years living in Madrid and moved to Lanzarote this year, living in the neighboring house. My life partner Isabel is from the north of Spain, and I myself am from Hamburg, where I spent the first 50 years of my life. Since 2012, I have been living and working in Spain. As my employer operates globally, I am fortunate to be able to continue working for my company, where I have been an engineer for over 30 years. We have furnished the house in such a way that it meets our tastes and needs. We hope that our guests will feel just as comfortable there as we do.
