Two terraces, a covered pergola, soul swings under the trees which provide natural shade, as well as new hanging chairs that can be rearranged as desired and outdoor furniture invite you to relax. The light-flooded living conservatory, with a comfortable seating set with reclining lounger, rocking chair, soul swing, and stereo system with internet connection and a view of nature, invites you to relax as well as to observe birds or squirrels.
For shading and protection from high outside temperatures, the conservatory has external blinds. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with a kitchenette: 4-burner stove, extractor hood, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishes, dish towels, vinegar, oil, as well as spices.
In the eat-in kitchen there is a dining area, a comfortable sofa (which can also be used as an extra bed),
the TV, as well as WiFi connection, are available for you free of charge. The nostalgic bedroom is equipped with bedding, 2 beds: a single bed, a French double bed.

About 200 meters from the holiday apartment there is a public BOULE COURT and the BOULE set is ready for you in the apartment,
as well as the forest with many hiking trails.
The surroundings of Trier and the nature park invite you to explore the vineyards and forests
on very well signposted cycling and hiking trails, large and small dream loops, as well as side trips, for all age groups.
In about 3 km you can join a cycling network of Saar, Moselle, Sauer, Kyll & Ruwertal with bike rental stations. Maps are ready for you.
The view into the surrounding valleys of Moselle, Saar & Ruwer is enchanting.
Especially bikers, hikers, runners & walking enthusiasts will get their money's worth.
You will be following in the footsteps of the Romans at the latest in the city center of TRIER (Porta Nigra), 12 km away.
Culturally, the surrounding area also has much to offer, e.g. picturesque towns & castles, Saarburg, Mettlach, Grimburg, Celtic Park with ring wall near Otzenhausen, as well as the Hunsrück National Park. -Hochwald, which also greatly pleased our Federal President Mr. Steinmeier.
An excursion to our neighboring country Luxembourg, with its beautiful old town Luxembourg, is an experience.
Especially since in the country of Luxembourg, you can use all public transport free of charge from the border onwards.

Here in autumn
We stayed for 4 nights at Josefin's house, and it was very pleasant. Now in the autumn, we could not make use of the various terraces around the house and the garden. A garden that looks very nice and is quite large. In the summer, this will certainly be a paradise; now it was more about the apartment itself.
That is, especially due to a beautiful conservatory extension, surprisingly spacious. It has a number of spots where it's nice to sit, a chair with a view of the birds in the garden, a comfortable couch, a good dining table inside with another bench and easy chairs, we felt at home very quickly.
The kitchen setup deserves a compliment; we have never encountered a kitchen where everything is truly available from pots and pans to various appliances, we missed nothing. The bedroom and the bathroom were also perfectly fine. It is clear that the landlord sets high standards, and therefore also asks for a deposit of €150. Those who are used to leaving an apartment tidy will have no problem with that.
The location is high, a car is really needed. It can be parked on the driveway.
We had a very nice reception, and we also had everything we needed. Thank you, Frau Josefin Lehnert!

Highly recommended
We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Lehnert, and our time in the holiday apartment unfortunately came to an end far too quickly. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired; it is very well equipped. The beautiful winter garden with the great view of the lovely garden is particularly special. The seating furniture is so cozy that one enjoys spending time there and watching the birds at the feeding stations. We immediately booked our next stay and are already looking forward to that time. Thank you very much and great praise to Ms. Lehnert.

The hostess is very thorough in her helpfulness and friendly, yet businesslike.
The surroundings are beautiful; in all directions, there are nice areas to tour by motorcycle.
There are plenty of walking areas.
From the village, walks can be taken through wooded areas.
The garden is imaginative and has a nice view.
The house is spaciously furnished and remains reasonably cool in the heat, despite the lack of air conditioning, due to the ubiquitous shutters. There is a spacious parking lot with room for a car and trailer.
In short, ideal as a base for exploring the surroundings.

Vacation apartment
We had a beautiful apartment with a nice welcome in a great location with a view of nature. The garden was well-maintained with beautiful planting and several seating or lounging options for a relaxing evening. It is a fantastic location for hikers and nature lovers.
