Description
The spacious holiday apartment is located on the ground floor in a former stable building of our farm complex. It has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a large living room, an open-plan kitchen, a generous bathroom with underfloor heating and a barrier-free shower, double sinks, a washing machine, and a storage room. We have installed plank flooring in the living and sleeping areas. The farm complex borders directly on the large Schleswig recreational forest "Tiergarten" to the west, and on the south by the elaborately reconstructed Baroque garden of the Schleswig Castle. The State Museum Schloss Gottorf is about 500 meters away. One can reach the center of the district town on foot in 20 minutes. Shopping facilities, a swimming pool, and various (water) sports opportunities are available in the immediate vicinity. In 2008, the city of Schleswig hosted the first state garden show in Schleswig-Holstein and is located on the Schlei, an arm of the Baltic Sea.
In the stable building of our farm complex, there are a total of 6 apartments, 5 of which are permanently rented. The holiday apartment is located in the middle part of the building facing southwest, overlooking the courtyard or the directly adjacent local recreation forest "Tiergarten".
The holiday apartment is fully equipped and meets the highest standards. Outdoor seating is available.
Upon arrival, you will find freshly made beds, plenty of towels, and nice neighbors :-)
The vacation apartment is a non-smoking apartment. We ask you to respect this.
I am a dog owner myself and welcome traveling, well-behaved furry friends - they even stay for free with me. One condition: Not in the bed or on the sofa and not off-leash outside the apartment on the courtyard premises. Here live other animals that are afraid of strange dogs.

It is worth mentioning the central location of the district town of Schleswig:
It is less than 50 kilometers to the North or Baltic Sea, the state capital Kiel, or the northernmost city of Germany (Flensburg) as well as the Danish border!
Even faster, you can reach the beautiful cities of Husum (North Sea), Kappeln and Eckernförde (both Baltic Sea), and Rendsburg on the Kiel Canal with its wonderful cycling trail. Popular day trip destinations also include the North Frisian islands of Sylt, Amrum, Föhr, or even Helgoland.

Great!
We have already been in so many vacation apartments. However, this one is unbeatable! It's not just about the fantastic location and the opportunities for beautiful walks. The apartment is perfectly coordinated and furnished down to the smallest detail. No wish remains unfulfilled. The whole experience is also enhanced by a really nice neighborhood.
Only downside: saying goodbye is soooo hard….

Atmospheric accommodation, very nice host.
We were in this beautiful vacation apartment for a total of 4 weeks - in July for a week already. During this time, we were busy with our moving preparations to Schleswig and were glad to find an oasis of calm here. Mrs. Neubauer supported us with many tips and help and was a great host. Thank you once again!

very beautiful apartment, great location, wonderful hosts
It was a wonderful week with a dog. We were received very kindly and could contact Ms. Neubauer at any time with questions. The vacation apartment is clean, cozy, and has everything you need, making it suitable for a longer holiday as well. The location of the apartment is unbeatable. Directly near the forest and Schleswig. We felt very comfortable and say thank you!

Extraordinary vacation apartment
For this holiday apartment, we can only give the highest rating. The amenities are far above the normal standard. There is really nothing missing. The apartment is bright and spacious, very clean, located very quietly but close to the city. The Paulihof has a very special flair. We were warmly welcomed by the landlady. She was always approachable and open to all our wishes.
