The natural materials used, the insulation with natural flakes and sheep's wool and the light wooden walls glazed with eco-friendly colors create an incredibly pleasant living environment. Plastic-free zone. I love that.
The Habitide is a year-round boat with lots of loving details, an open kitchen, shower, terrace, bathing ladder into the water - I'll call it a pool because there is no name for it here - including a paddle boat for free use.

The wonderful play of light in the ship through large windows and bulleyes as well as the individual furnishings with found objects, lots of good ideas and a few eye-catchers (Morocco bathroom, safari room with pulley folding bed) create a great atmosphere.

NEW 2024:
1. A new aluminum hull inflatable boat with paddles is available for free use directly on the water terrace - an electric outboard motor can be rented optionally. More powerful motorized boats for excursions or fishing trips can be rented in the harbor without a license.
2. The bed inlets are now made from pure natural materials such as cotton, kapok and wool.
3. We have invested in high-quality and therefore sustainable mattresses.
4. There is now also a dishwasher on board
*plastic-free: The Habitide is designed, built, furnished and supplied in an exceptionally plastic-free manner. Cubic materials only exist where it doesn't make sense otherwise. E.g. with hoses or power lines...

Schleswig is on the A7: Flensburg is 40 / Eckern förde 20 / Kiel and the North Sea 40 minutes away.
Haithabu, the Viking Museum, Cathedral and Fischerholm Monastery are definitely worth a visit. A Schlei tour is beautiful.
Gottorf Castle, Tolk Show, Teddy Museum and lots of coastline also invite you.

You are vacationing on a unique residential ship and definitely on a boat.
It is therefore important to act in an environmentally conscious and resource-saving manner.
Water is not infinite. Waste water tanks will eventually be full.
This is something to think about when living on a ship. But that's what makes it so special.
On the other hand, houseboat life also shows how to use alternative energy production
can be deeply relaxed in harmony with nature.
INSTRUCTION:
What needs to be taken into account will be explained in detail in advance by me and/or my husband. It's not that complicated :)

BERTH:
The berth may change over the course of the season within the Schleswig city harbor due to port
change depending on technical requirements. This is normal for mobile vehicles such as ships and does not constitute a reason for a complaint.
It should also be noted that the boat rises and falls with the water level and that access is via the gangway
sometimes tilts a little downwards or upwards.
CLEAN UP:
The supply and disposal flat rate 'water'+'gas' does not correspond to the fee for a final cleaning of the boat.
We ask our guests to leave the habitide as clean as I handed it over before departure.
So far it has always worked really well ;)
If you would like a cleaning fairy at the end of your holiday, we ask that you book this in advance here in the system for €150.
Supply and disposal means supplying the boat with fresh and process water and the gray and
Disposing of black water, refilling gas, maintaining the internet and managing laundry.
DOGS:
Well-behaved Snuffies are very welcome. Here in the system they may not be shown correctly in the price. Per week means 35 per dog per week started

We reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time at our discretion in the event of extreme weather or other circumstances that endanger safety on board. You will then receive a refund of the entire booking amount or, in the event of cancellation, the amount of the booking that was not used in time. This means that you are not entitled to any compensation from us.

Alles da für einen besonderen Urlaub. Die Gegebenheiten entsprechen der Beschreibung. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr gut.
