Welcome to the manor house Groß Schönfeld
Our manor house is located in the small village of Groß Schönfeld near Blankenese, in the centre of the Feldberg Lake District, part of the Mecklenburg Lake District and on the edge of the Müritz National Park. And only 200 metres from the Rödlinersee lake.
Over the past four years, we have renovated our listed house with a great deal of effort and craftsmanship. In the process, we have created several flats as well as communal rooms. The house is therefore particularly suitable for groups - whether for conferences, seminars or parties. Of course, you can not only work or celebrate with us, but also simply go on holiday.
From June, we particularly welcome self-catering guests, but vegetarian and vegan half-board is also possible on request.
All our rooms have their own character and can be booked individually: The small rooms can be booked as single or twin rooms, the large rooms as single to four-bed rooms. This means that we can flexibly offer you either nine single rooms or up to 26 beds if you book the rooms as shared rooms.
You can easily extend our handmade beds from 90 cm to 180 cm - without any annoying gaps.
Our 90 m2 room is ideal for working, especially for larger groups. It has plenty of tables and chairs, a large cosy sofa area and can be individually furnished. We also have a large living room with a large table and comfortable loungers. Depending on your needs, you can also work in small groups in the sports room, in the large kitchen or in the side entrance. We have equipped the hall and living room with projectors.
Holidays are our top priority! You can cook together in our communal kitchens, sweat in the sauna or relax in the cosy sofa corners, on the terraces and in the garden.
You can let off steam in our sports room with climbing wall, on the table tennis tables or in the lake 200 metres away with its own swimming area. You can even see the lake from the house.
It's not just our house and garden that offer you a range of activities, but also the surrounding area. Lake Rödlin is right on the doorstep and has its own bathing area. The lake is home to many plants and animals, such as the rare bittern, osprey and white-tailed eagle. Thousands of wild geese also like to spend the winter here.
But it's not just people interested in ornithology who get their money's worth here: the Serrahn beech forest, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is just 4 kilometres away.
You can also go cycling, canoeing, hiking, fishing and much more.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is located in the south-eastern part of the Mecklenburg Lake District, roughly halfway between Neustrelitz and Feldberg.
Blankensee railway station is only 3km away and is easily accessible by bike or on foot via a beautiful forest path. A transfer from the station to the house is possible by arrangement.
The RE 5 to Stralsund runs every two hours and takes only 1 hour 15 minutes from Berlin Gesundbrunnen, and 1 hour 25 minutes from Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Trains run to Neustrelitz every hour, and there is also a taxi from there.
Alternatively, you can of course come to us by car: the best route is via the B 96 to Neustrelitz and then via the B 198 to Carpin. We have parking spaces for six cars, and there are public parking spaces about 100 metres away.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.
