Our holiday flat is located approx. 500 m outside the small village of Pittenbach with approx. 100 inhabitants, directly on the Prümtal cycle path. The cycle path leads from Prüm via Pittenbach and Pronsfeld, directly past the old railway station museum, along the converted railway line to St. Vith in Belgium. On the slightly ascending route, you can enjoy the unspoilt nature of the German-Belgian Nature Park in a relaxed manner. With a bit of luck, you might spot beavers in the Alfbach valley.
The modern holiday flat is located in the middle of nature. On the doorstep is a mixed forest that invites you to go for a walk. Behind the house, the "Prüm" flows through lush green meadows, where you can cool your feet in the stream in summer or watch the wild ducks and herons. Children and dogs also have lots of fun romping around on our large meadow. Sometimes you can also watch deer and hares on the other side of the stream or watch the fox hunting for mice.
If you want to relax, you can retreat to a quiet corner in the large grounds or lie down in the shade under the large maple tree with a good book. You can end the evening with a glass of wine or a good Bitburger beer in the garden or conservatory. For all barbecue masters there is a fire bowl with a swivelling barbecue in the barbecue area.
True to our motto "take your time to be happy..." you have the opportunity to use our outdoor wellness oasis for yourself and undisturbed.
Relax and switch off in the 37 degree Jacuzzi whirlpool or in the sauna house. After a sauna bath, you can cool off directly under the outdoor shower or take a dip in the neighbouring stream.

Location and surroundings of object
Pittenbach is located in the High Eifel in the border triangle of Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg, nestled in the idyllic Prümtal valley between meadows, forests, mountains and valleys.
Pittenbach is well connected to the Cologne (A 1), Aachen, Trier, Luxembourg, Liège and Brussels (Belgium) conurbations via the A 60 motorway. The B 410 provides a favourable transport link to the Luxembourg border (26 km), to Prüm (10 km) and Gerolstein (30 km) with access to the A 48 towards Koblenz. Other state and district roads complete the road network. As a result of the favourable traffic situation, a number of local public transport bus routes pass through Pittenbach. Since 2009, a bus has been travelling 8 times a day from Prüm to Ettelbrück (Luxembourg) or to Luxembourg City and back.
The nearest railway station is in Gerolstein (30 km).
