We took over the holiday flat in autumn 2019 and have since "turned it inside out". The old bathroom was refurbished, the rest of the flat was completely renovated and brought into our decade. The old kitchen was replaced and there are now 140cm bunk beds in the bedroom. The holiday apartment has become a den, dusty has become relaxed and laid-back. A place to feel good. A place to slow down. A place to relax and unwind without having to compromise on comfort. The hotel's own sauna and swimming pool ensure this. And if you want, fast Wi-Fi and Netflix or Waipu.tv with over 200 HD channels.
The Harzbude can be used as a double or twin apartment, as it has a 140cm wide bunk bed in the bedroom. This means that the two of you can either snuggle up together or each have enough space to really spread out.
Our swap shelves in the living room are a little piece of jewellery. We have collected a lot from family, friends and acquaintances and have put together a nice selection of books across all genres. When the holiday reading runs out, you simply take a book from the shelf and leave your own - if you like - in exchange. This way, the selection is constantly changing and remains varied. There is also a selection of books (belonging to the stall) with a Harz theme: travel and hiking guides, cookery books, as well as a copy each of "Harzreise" and "Grimms Märchen".
Please note: It is currently not possible to use the swimming pool in the hotel. However, we will reimburse daily admission for 1.5 hours to the Braunlage indoor and leisure pool, which is within walking distance.

Location and surroundings of object
The Harzbude is located in the direct neighbourhood of one of the largest forest national parks in Germany, the Harz National Park, in the heart of Braunlage. The cable car, town centre, spa gardens and ice rink are all within walking distance, as are ski and bike hire.

Cancellation terms:
- Free cancellation option until 28 days before the day of arrival.

Hi there! My name is Georg Staudacher and I "rediscovered" the Harz Mountains in 2016. in 2019, an acquaintance gave me the opportunity to buy this flat. The two of us then renovated and furnished the flat and decided to rent it out as a holiday flat. After all, it is otherwise empty most of the year. We were only able to start renting it out in May 2021 due to corona - but we think it was worth it and hope that you can spend some wonderful days in the Oberharz!
