Old beautiful and cosy again
We (5 siblings) spent a very nice time here. Great equipment, very good and cosy furniture, nothing was missing. We can only warmly recommend it!

Siblings' meeting 2021 again a great success
Our stay was a relaxing change after the depressing events of the flood disaster and a good opportunity to get some air with the family in nature after the Corona Lock Downs and to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of this country house with fun and good humour.

A beautiful house, lovingly furnished and well-equipped, where we spent our annual sibling weekend with lots of joy. The surroundings offer plenty of space for nature lovers and the Diemelsee is a worthwhile destination.

Schöne Auszeit
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit hier, dass haus eignet sich wunderbar für einen Gruppenurlaub. Wir sind mit der Familie (3 Generationen) angereist und sowohl die ganz Kleinen wie auch die großen konnten die Zeit genießen. Es ist ein tolles Haus und eine schöne umgebung

Familienwochenende
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem alten Haus. Das Nebenhaus für die Eltern, auch zum Rückzug, war perfekt. Mit 10 Personen und zwei Hunden haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten genügend Platz. In der Küche war alles zum Kochen vorhanden. Im kleinen Garten konnten wir entspannt sitzen und zum Diemelsee ist es zu Fuß nicht weit. Die Böötchenfahrt mit den Elektrobooten war einfach fantastisch und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Einzig der Platz zum Parken, wenn man mit 4 Autos anreisen muss, ist etwas knapp, hat aber, dank netter Nachbarn, auch geklappt. Vielen Dank an die Familie Kirchhoff!

Tolles
Das Landhaus Diemelsee war der perfekte Ort für unseren kleinen Kegelausflug. Wir hatten Haupt-und Nebenhaus gebucht und waren von der gemütlichen Atmosphäre gleich angetan. Schöne Zimmer, unglaublich viel Platz, 3 Bäder - es hat alles gepasst. Selbst dem schlechten Wetter haben wir getrotzt und die Grillmöglichkeiten genutzt. Die schöne Lage war toll für unsere Ausflüge. Alle waren begeistert und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Landhaus liegt im kleinen Ort Helminghausen, nur einen kurzen Fußweg vom Diemelsee entfernt. Toll für Wanderungen, mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Willingen, Brilon oder Winterberg und hat somit viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge jeglicher Art. Auch der Möhnesee lohnt einen Besuch.
free time activities: In Helminghausen selbst gibt es neben dem nahegelegenen Diemelsee einen Minigolfplatz und ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant (Gasthof zum Diemeltal). Im Umkreis ebenfalls Minigolf, in Willingen zahlreiche Möglichkeiten (Seilbahn, Sommerrodelbahn, Erlebnisbad usw.)
shopping facilities: Direkt neben dem Haus ist ein Kiosk, in Padberg und Messinghausen sind Bäcker. Brilon bietet Supermärkte und Einkaufszone, Fahrtzeit ca. 20 min.
