Description
The holiday home is a semi-detached house. The other half is also used as a holiday home.
The house is bright and spacious.
You have approx. 100 sqm living space as well as an approx. 40 sqm terrace and a large garden (approx. 1500 sqm )at your disposal.
There is also a children's playhouse, a fireplace and a garden shed for your bicycles.
So there is plenty of space for you to feel at home.
When the sun is shining, the terrace offers plenty of space to eat, relax and dream. When it gets too hot, you'll find a shady spot and fresh air under the trees in the garden.
In cool weather you can make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace or use the private sauna.
Firewood is ready for you in the garden / wood shelter. There is also enough wood for a campfire in the fire bowl.
The sauna is large enough for 4 people. Two people can lie comfortably.
The kitchen is well equipped with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker and crockery.
On the ground floor is the large, bright bedroom with a double bed and wardrobes and the bathroom with attached sauna. There is plenty of space in the floor-level shower. The living room is two steps down and has direct access to the terrace.
The second bedroom is located on the upper floor of the house and is equipped with two single beds.
W-lan is available via a Vodafon Cube. The performance of the Vodafon network is unfortunately very limited in this area, especially during holiday periods. It is sufficient for e-mails and short trips to the internet. Unfortunately not for streaming movies.
From 2024, we will hopefully be connected to the fibre optic network and will then be able to offer you a better service. The preparations are in full swing.
We lived in this house ourselves until recently and always felt very comfortable there. We especially liked the direct proximity to the North Sea and the many excursion possibilities.
We hope that you will feel the same way and enjoy your stay in this house and in these wonderful surroundings.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is in a very quiet location in Wesselburenerkoog. If you want to enjoy the hustle and bustle, Büsum and St. Peter Ording are easy to reach by car. From the house to the North Sea you walk only about 200 metres. On the dike you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening.........if the weather cooperates. The bathing area is a green beach with showers and a playground. To ensure that you can get into the water safely, there are several steps leading into the sea; at high tide for swimming and at low tide for walking on the mudflats. Guided mudflat walks are offered.
You will find a sandy beach in St. Peter Ording.
The area is ideal for cycling, swimming and relaxing.
Surfing and SUP are offered in Büsum and St. Peter Ording. A SUP tour on the canals in Friedrichstadt is also recommended.
There are almost endless possibilities for excursions in the surrounding area.
Husum and Heide for shopping, Tönning with harbour and Multimar Wattforum, Friedrichstadt the Dutch town with beautiful old houses and canal trips, Büsum with harbour and Perlebucht and and and ........ Or boat trips to the seal banks, the North Frisian Islands and Halligen or to Helgoland.
There are several farm shops and small restaurants and cafés near the holiday home
Larger grocery shops can be found 6 km away in Wesselburen.
You can also shop on Sundays in Tönning and St. Peter Ording and Büsum.

Please note:
There are two steps of height difference between the living room and the rest of the house. The house is therefore only partially suitable for wheelchair users.
The stairs upstairs to the second bedroom have no banister. Small children should be supervised on the stairs.

We are an older married couple, love our home in northern Germany and love to travel. We lived in the house ourselves not long ago. We were reluctant to move away from there. Now we live in Cuxhaven and enjoy being close to our children and grandchildren.
