The house is located in a small holiday home settlement directly behind the dike, a stone's throw from the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The holiday home, built in Scandinavian wooden style and furnished to a high standard, has a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with a pull-out day bed. It also has a cosy living-dining area with fireplace, a fully equipped fitted kitchen and a bathroom with sauna and shower.

Outside, there is a 400 m² garden, with a large covered breakfast terrace in front of the front door and another large main terrace behind the house, which is partly covered and borders on a beautiful natural pond. The house also has a parking space in front of the house.

Shopping possibilities are offered by the numerous farm shops with regional specialities in the area as well as the shops ( Aldi, Sky, Edeka ...) in Wesselburen, 6 km away. To cover your daily needs for small items, you can use the "Deichkate". Within walking distance, you can order your breakfast rolls, have a coffee or a snack. By the way, guided mudflat walks for young and old start from here.
The freshly baked cakes and coffee and tea specialities at Café Koog, 1.5 km away, are also highly recommended for a cosy afternoon.

Your holiday home is located on the Schleswig-Holstein North Sea coast of Dithmarschen in Wesselburenerkoog, directly behind the dyke in a small holiday home settlement. Wesselburenerkoog lies directly on the Wadden Sea National Park and almost halfway between Sankt-Peter-Ording and Büsum. Away from the tourist hustle and bustle, but right in the middle of it and very close to it.
Wesselburenerkoog is located right between the popular North Sea resort of Büsum and the fantastic beaches of St. Peter-Ording and offers numerous possibilities for your holiday.

Activities
At low tide you can explore the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site on foot. Guided mudflat walks start in the immediate vicinity. The Eider barrage is also within walking distance. From here you can take a boat almost daily to Helgoland, Germany's only high seas island.
For birdwatchers, nature lovers and hikers, the nearby nature reserve "Katinger Watt" is a kind of Mecca. Excursions are offered regularly.
You might also enjoy excursions by boat to catch crabs or to the seal banks!?

The possibilities are almost unlimited: Fishing, cycling, golfing, inline skating, canoeing, horse riding, swimming, surfing, hiking and whatever else your heart desires.

Relax
At high tide you can swim and splash around on the natural beach. The bathing area is equipped with showers and a small natural children's playground. In nearby St. Peter-Ording, the sandy beach, which is about 12 km long and up to 2 km wide, invites you to take a relaxing swim or a leisurely walk.
Experience atmospheric sunrises and sunsets directly at the house, perhaps including a picnic blanket and a glass of wine on the dyke!?
Enjoy the tranquillity of nature in a unique environment at a special location (100 m behind the dyke).
