Are you a couple or a family with children and would like to spend your holiday at the Baltic Sea? Then we cordially invite you to our holiday home in Kalkhorst in the Klützer Winkel on the Bay of Lübeck! Our beautiful holiday home offers you many amenities for a relaxing and affordable holiday on a large property on the edge of the village with a barn.
In the house
The house has a total of 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor, the "children's room" includes 2 single box spring beds 90 x 200cm and is accessible via the living/bedroom. The living/bedroom contains a couch and a double bed 180x210 cm in high quality boxspring design. In the attic there is another room with a 160x200cm bed under cosy sloping ceilings. The kitchen is equipped with a new fridge with ice compartment, a new dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob and oven, capsule coffee machine, toaster, kettle, radio and a dining area with 5 seats. In the bathroom you have enough space with a bathtub, shower, hairdryer and new washing machine. A spacious entrance area with space for prams, wardrobe and seating (bench) gives you access to the aforementioned rooms.
In the living room there is a large flat screen TV with satellite reception, in the attic room there is another TV with DVD player. There is no WLAN available.
The property
The house is located on the street side. The entrance is at the back of the house opposite the barn. The property is not fenced, so you can easily park your car directly at the house on the property. Several cars can park behind each other.
In the summer months, you have free use of an above-ground pool with a diameter of 3.66 m and a water depth of 1.22 m. The terrace is equipped with a weaving machine. On the terrace you can enjoy the evenings in the seating area with a Weber ball grill (charcoal) and a fire bowl. The terrace is sheltered from view and includes a new set of garden table, 6 high-back chairs, 2 footstools and a parasol. You can use the lockable barn to safely store your bicycles, leisure items (SUP, etc.). An existing foldable handcart and beach toys can also be used.
The holiday home is heated with night storage heaters and also produces hot water via the electricity supply. For families with smaller children, a high chair, potty, stool, baby bath, fall-out protection and children's cutlery are available.
Our holiday home is a non-smoking house, unfortunately pets are not allowed!

Due to the quiet location between the Baltic seaside resort Boltenhagen and Travemünde/ Priwall in the Klützer Winkel, your holiday will be relaxing at any time of the year. You can refer to a detailed information folder in our holiday home, which contains regional tips from our own experience. Whether you want to enjoy your stay in our house as a couple or as a family, make excursions to the seaside resorts, to the natural beach 3 km away that is free of health resort tax, or make interesting discoveries in the local area - you will be able to enjoy eventful and beautiful holidays.
In the village there is a small supermarket within walking distance with a café for grocery shopping and a daily (also on Sundays) offer of fresh bread rolls and cake in the afternoon.
By car you can reach Priwall/Travemünde and Boltenhagen in 15 minutes. The centre of the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck and Wismar can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.
Kalkhorst is connected to the long-distance cycle path of the Baltic Sea coast with a newly developed cycle path to Groß Schwansee. You can therefore do without your car and cycle to the beach, which is about 3 km away. Boltenhagen and Travemünde are within easy reach by bike.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.
additional information:
The minimum rental period is 7 nights. The booking price includes all additional costs, such as water and electricity consumption. Towels and bed linen for 5 persons, shower mats and tea towels are included in the booking price. The final cleaning fee is 79 EUR.
A deposit is charged at the time of booking, which will be refunded 14 days after departure at the latest. Booking confirmation and invoice with VAT will be sent to you by email.
There is no personal handover. You will receive the keys via a key safe at the house, so that you can arrive and depart at any time without detours.
The charging of electric vehicles (except e-bikes) is not permitted.

Dear holidaymakers, two years ago we had the opportunity to acquire an older house with a barn on a large plot of land in Klützer Winkel on the Baltic Sea. Initially planned only for our family, the wish matured to offer this gem to holiday guests as well, as we have always felt very comfortable here. Therefore, you can now enjoy spending your holidays in our "Kalkhorst" domicile and experience wonderful days in a unique region.
