Simply perfect! When we arrived at this accommodation at the end of June, I could hardly believe my eyes. The view from the balcony has a Mediterranean flair and reminds me of Greece. The accommodation was very clean and well-equipped to a good standard. Lohme itself is rather remote (exactly what we wanted). There isn't a proper bathing beach here, but anyone who arrives by car can reach Glowe in about 5 minutes. There is a approximately 10 km long sandy beach divided into textile, nude, and dog-friendly sections. The conditions there are dreamy, with shallow water right behind a dune on bright sand. In Lohme, at the harbor, there’s the small "Cafe Niedlich." They serve warm food (e.g., currywurst or flammkuchen) and the usual drinks. The view here is also simply great. Further up in the village, there is also a restaurant and a small village shop. the latter is quite expensive, though (2.20€ for two rolls of toilet paper). The Jasmund National Park is also only a few minutes away. There, you can take a leisurely hike and admire the chalk cliffs; I recommend the long hiking route from the parking lot along the coast. However, you should be free of vertigo, as there are sections directly next to the path where it drops 50-60m without a railing (not suitable for children). All in all, we had a very nice spontaneous vacation here and will definitely come back. By the way, the islanders are also happy about visitors outside the typical holiday season. The decline in tourism here every year in late autumn and winter becomes a big problem for the population.
