Description
The chalet is suitable for 3 adults, or 2 adults with 2 children.
It is located in the quiet part of the recreation park "Rhederlaagse Meren" in Lathum, near Arnhem.
The beautifully landscaped garden is surrounded by conifers and a fence, so your children and dogs can stay out of sight.
Through the sliding door you enter the almost completely covered terrace, the attractively lit veranda extends through to the front like a fan, so you can always enjoy the beautiful view in the shade.
You can see grazing cows, hopping rabbits,
passing ships and boats.
The garden offers you plenty of privacy and is enclosed by its own gate.
There are two lockable sheds where you can safely park and charge your bike.
A trolley is available to transport your luggage.
The chalet is bright and modernly furnished and has a sitting area, a dining area, a flat screen TV with a wide selection of German TV channels, radio and Canal Digital.
Wifi ( wireless LAN) is available free of charge.
The living room and the bedroom are equipped with air conditioning, both for heating and cooling, so you can always create a comfortable temperature.
The large sofa in the living room can be folded out as a bed for 2 children or 1 adult.
The kitchen is equipped with a Senseo coffee machine, an electric cooker, a combi microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartment, a kettle and of course enough pans, dishes and cutlery.
The bedroom has a double bed (160x200) and a spacious wardrobe with sliding doors.
There is a roller shutter in front of the window.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin with cabinet and hairdryer.
The bathroom is heated by a design radiator.
Linen such as bed linen, bath linen and kitchen linen can be rented for 10 euros per person, please indicate this when booking.
You can park your car nearby (approx. 20 metres).
You will receive a barrier pass with the chalet key.
There are charging stations for your car outside the reception.
The park offers many facilities: an outdoor swimming pool, a private beach, a water park, a playground, bicycle and boat rental, an animation team and various gastronomic facilities such as a cafeteria, a restaurant, a pool bar and a beach bar.
You can enjoy water sports to your heart's content, swimming, water skiing and surfing.
Fishing is also possible.
A pizzeria, an ice cream parlour, a bistro, a fishing pond and a petrol station are also located near the park.
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. You can take the bicycle ferry across the IJssel and go on a cycling tour through the Veluwe and the Posbank.
You can also visit cities like Arnhem, Nijmegen, Doesburg or Apeldoorn, go to an amusement park or explore nature.
There are also wellness resorts nearby and you can go on cultural or historical excursions.

The chalet is on the quiet part of the park Rhederlaagse Meren in Lathum, with a beautiful, wide view over the river IJssel.
In front of the IJssel is a green strip where you can enjoy grazing cows and hopping hares in summer.
If you want to go to the "busy" part of the park, you can get there in a few minutes over the pedestrian footbridge .

All-round carefree stay in a great accommodation with excellent service from the hosts
We felt completely comfortable in the great chalet with an extra beautiful terrace overlooking the Ijssel.
Before we arrived, we were already completely thrilled by the friendly email contact, which made us feel like we were visiting friends.
The feeling of being warmly welcomed was reinforced by the personal welcome drinks and the more than usual amenities -
(dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. more than enough...)
- in the form of coffee, various types of tea, sugar, sweetener, coffee creamer, etc.
In addition, the chalet was extremely clean and we didn't miss anything.
The landlords really care about their guests having a great and relaxing vacation!
Even our little dog felt extremely comfortable.
The park itself is well located, with good shopping opportunities not far away and great excursions possible.
The town of Doesburg is very beautiful, or the Veluwezoom National Park - but if you like, you can also drive to the North Sea.
We had a wonderful time in Lathum and can highly recommend the chalet and the lovely landlords!

Very well-maintained and top-equipped chalet
The Charlet has a very clean and modern equipment and leaves nothing out. The garden is super well-kept and has everything for coziness. The view of the water is beautiful, calm and relaxing. The park itself offers many opportunities to experience something every day, but the surrounding area is also recommendable. Lots of nature, forest, animals, and small beautiful historical sights.
