Description
We rent out our beautiful chalet in Lathum near Arnhem. The chalet is situated directly on the river Iyssel and from the terrace or the living room you have an unobstructed view over the river Iyssel and its shipping traffic. On the other side of the park is the lake Rederlaagse Meeren, whether you want to go fishing, surfing, boating, swimming or just have a cocktail at the beach bar, everything is possible. The park has its own swimming pool, a great children's playground, a restaurant, a café and of course a supermarket. On the site you can rent bicycles or even a boat for a trip across the lake.
In the surroundings there are many possibilities for young and old, whether a walking or cycling tour through the recreation area Veluwe or a visit to Burgers Zoo or a stroll through the beautiful old town of Arnhem.
Our chalet has 2 bedrooms, one with a 180x 200 double bed (box spring) and one with 2 single beds. It has a dishwasher, oven, grill, lounge furniture and outside dining area. Of course there is also a cooker, fridge and freezer on site.
The chalet is completely fenced in or enclosed by a dense hedge. Your four-legged friend is also welcome here.

Pure relaxation
So, the landlords get 5 stars plus! Very nice, we were completely informed about everything via WhatsApp. No questions were left unanswered.
The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, really everything you could need is there, and it is very nicely decorated.
The location of the apartment is perfect, directly overlooking the Ijssel and very quiet. The place itself doesn't offer much, but we wanted it quiet :-)
The nicest thing was just to rest in the swinging bed on the large terrace/garden overlooking the Ijssel. We were lucky with the weather accordingly.
We would definitely like to come back sometime.
Until then, we wish the Frank family all the best and thank you again for the great communication.

Pure relaxation
The landlord is very nice. We had a great time and felt very comfortable as a family.

Clean accommodation.
Beautiful and clean mobile home, directly on the river Ijssel. Unfortunately, the room with the single beds is very wobbly due to the foundation, and it feels like you're on a boat. With the current 32 degrees Celsius, having a floor fan would be nice, especially at night. And an umbrella would be nice for outside. The beach is directly opposite, and it's nice that cows come up to the fence every morning. The view is also great. Unfortunately, shopping options are poor, and you have to drive quite far. However, if you want to see something great, we recommend Utrecht. There's great food, friendly people, a beautiful old town, views directly on the canal, boat rides, canoeing, and much more. There's a great cheese shop for tasting and buying as well. It's just beautiful, so take your time because it's huge.

Holiday in a chalet
We spent a long weekend in this chalet. It was truly very cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The decor was totally lovingly done, so we immediately felt comfortable there. The location overlooking the river was fantastic. Mrs. Frank, the landlady, is a very nice person who was always available for any questions. We can wholeheartedly recommend the chalet.

Beautiful chalet for a quiet vacation.
We were 2 adults and two dogs. We found the house very clean and with the desired bed linen and towels provided. The chalet was very nice and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge and freezer. With large windows, it is very bright and offers a great view of a large meadow and the river. The outdoor area is also clean and (in summer) definitely invites you to linger. Chalet Frank is definitely recommended, and even though it was a contactless check-in and check-out, Mrs. Frank was always available by phone for questions. It was certainly not our last vacation in Chalet Frank.
