The country house Mettenberg offers above all plenty of space inside and outside with an absolutely high-quality and modern equipment. Enjoy your holiday on one of the large terraces with sun loungers or the two spacious, covered balconies with views of the Salwey valley. Alternatively, relax in your own sauna area or take a seat in the bright, cosy living-dining room. Spread over a generous 280 m² there are 7 bedrooms (two of which are family rooms with additional sofa beds), 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and 2 showers with WC.

In all our holiday homes W-LAN is available free of charge for our guests. You will find the access data in your accommodations.
TV and HiFi:
Our holiday homes and apartments are all equipped with high-quality flat screen TVs, CD and DVD players and radio.
Bed and table linen:
On your arrival your beds are freshly made. Towels and tea towels as well as table linen are also provided.
Family holiday:
Child-friendliness is written large at Ferienhäuser Tillmann. Our area offers plenty of space for romping and playing. A children's playhouse, a Kneipp pool and a small stream as well as playgrounds with a trampoline and swings and a small "petting zoo" ensure plenty to do and an unforgettable holiday. We are happy to provide you with a cot and high chair.
Bread roll service:
The local baker visits our holiday complex daily with his sales van. You are also welcome to use our morning bread service (except Sundays).
Laundry:
Some of our holiday homes have their own laundry rooms with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. Guests of the other holiday homes and apartments can use a separate washing and drying room nearby (for a fee).
Sauerland Card: 2,00€ per adult ( from 14 years) per day to be paid on site
Hiking:
Directly at the houses start developed and signposted hiking trails the feeder hiking trails to the famous hiking trail "Sauerland Höhenflug", circular hiking trails of about 1.0 hrs and day hikes

The state-approved climatic health resort Eslohe can be reached by car in only 5 minutes or directly from the houses via excellent hiking trails in about 45 minutes. There you will find all shopping possibilities from discounters to elegant clothing stores, excellent pastry shops, bakeries, furniture and decorating stores etc. The Kurhaus, which also houses the tourist office, and is located at the well-kept adjacent Kurpark with miniature golf, outdoor and indoor pool, you can reach with in-house bicycles in about 30 minutes. In approx. 400 m you find an excellent hotel and further experience catering trade in 3 - 8 km distance. A baker comes daily to the house or you use our bread roll service.
Leisure activities in the region: Many hiking routes invite you to long walks through the beautiful nature of the Sauerland. Sports facilities such as tennis courts, golf, horse riding, swimming etc. can be found in the immediate vicinity. Culture-loving guests can visit e.g. Schnellenberg Castle in Attendorn, Fort Fun Adventure Land (approx. 25 km away), the Sauerland Panorama Park (approx. 35 km away) or go to the "Biggesee" or "Möhnesee" recreation areas (approx. 20 km). Thanks to the location on the edge of the forest, you can enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet in the magnificent nature, while in winter you can reach the winter sports facilities around Winterberg in just one hour. Those interested in culture will be thrilled by castles and palaces in the Sauerland, also called the "Land of a Thousand Mountains", e.g. Altena Castle, Bielstein Castle or Schnellenberg Castle with its special experience gastronomy. The Atta cave in Attendorn or the Recken cave in the Hönne valley are also worth a visit, not to forget the technology museum in Eslohe. Here you can see the technology and history of former agriculture and the first steam engines. For guests interested in sports there is a well-developed network of hiking and biking trails, trim and climbing paths. Tours are organised by the Tillmann holiday homes. (Ideal for club excursions). Sports facilities such as tennis, horse riding and pony trekking, fishing, mini golf, professional golf for everyone, hang gliding and paragliding ensure that you will not be bored during your holiday. Several indoor, outdoor and fun pools can be found in the immediate vicinity. Winter sports like cross-country skiing, tobogganing and alpine skiing are possible in a distance of 5 - 16 km. We can organise hiking routes or covered wagon rides for you. (Ideal for club excursions). Let yourself be spoiled by the theme restaurants and the country cafes, for example restaurant "Zum heißen Stein" in Bremke, "Woiler Hof" in Niedersalway, "Brauerei Gasthof Domschänke" in Eslohe, "Haus Hochstein" in Wenholthausen, "Konditorei Cafe Kaptain" in Eslohe and the country hotel "Donner" in Remblinghausen. In the beautiful Salweytal, near the climatic health resort Eslohe, you will find our holiday houses and apartments. Far away from any through traffic, situated directly at the forest, our spacious area offers plenty of space for your perfect holiday.
The holiday region Eslohe has a lot to offer to its guests. Wonderful, partly awarded, hiking routes invite you to long tours through the beautiful nature of the Sauerland. Idyllic little half-timbered villages and the tranquil climatic health resort Eslohe form the backdrop for your stay in the Sauerland.
You can reach Eslohe in five minutes by car or in about 45 minutes on foot via a well-marked hiking trail. In the village you will find all the shopping facilities for your daily needs, as well as tasteful retail shops and cafés and restaurants. A spa house with tourist office, miniature golf, museum, swimming pool and a beautiful spa park complete the offer.
The holiday region Eslohe and the neighbouring Schmallenberger Sauerland have a lot to offer for your holidays. The focus is certainly on hiking in the "Land of a Thousand Mountains" and offers for families, but there are also plenty of opportunities for those interested in art and culture, sporty holidaymakers and wellness travellers.

From May 2018, an additional barbecue and fireplace for 16 people and a new barbecue hut for 14 people alone are available.

We offer the spacious houses of the Tillmann family in various combinations. So also bigger groups or families with friends will find their optimal holiday domicile. We would be happy to organise a covered wagon trip for you or advise you on the numerous excursion and refreshment possibilities in the vicinity. A visit to the Esselbräu in Eslohe is just as worthwhile as a hearty hike with a detour to the museum "DampfLandLeute".
