The holiday flat is located within the residential wing of a farmhouse that you occupy ALONE and it is at ground level. You enter the hallway via an entrance step, from which you can reach 4 rooms: the small bedroom contains a queen-size bed ( 1.4o x 2 m ), the large bedroom has a massive double bed ( 2 x 2 m ), in the living room there is a cosy corner couch and a satellite TV at your disposal, the kitchen is characterised by special brightness, as a large window lets in the morning sun and a second window lets in the evening brightness in summer. The kitchenette contains a fridge with freezer compartment, an electric cooker with oven and 4-piece ceramic hob, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a kettle, an egg boiler and a toaster. In this kitchen is the dining area with sturdy alder chairs and a small sofa. The second hallway leads to a small storage room, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. We have placed special emphasis on the stability of the furniture, so that even guests with limited mobility have a firm hold. In the natural garden you can relax and unwind.

Location and surroundings of object

This rural holiday home is located in the outskirts of the village of Wybelsum (part of Emden). It is located on a field road with little traffic. Here you can find peace and quiet and relax, but you can also quickly reach the centre of Emden with the Kunsthalle, the Otto-Huus, the Emden harbour and much more. From the motorway exit Emden-West to us it is about 5.5 km, to the city centre it is about 8 km. East Frisia's largest shopping centre is 5 km away. There is a pizzeria in the village itself. It is 1.5 km to the sea dike and 5 km to the natural sandy beach at the Knock. From there you can look across to the Netherlands and, with good visibility, all the way to Borkum.
The sandy beach invites you to take a walk in the fresh sea air, but we are against swimming because of the strong current. You can do that in the dry beach not far away with the Abtenteuer playground in Krummhörn-Upleward.

You can see East Frisia from above from the Campener lighthouse, built in 1892. At 65 metres, it is the highest lighthouse in Germany and after climbing 308 steps you have a breathtaking view.

If you go directly by bike, you can reach the sea dike in 5 minutes. From there you can explore Emden and the beautiful Krummhörn with its dwelling villages. You can cycle for kilometres along the North Sea and enjoy the fresh North Sea air. The fishing village of Greetsiel is about 25 km away.
