Description
The former bridge keeper's house dates from 1932 and is beautifully located right on the water with its own (fishing) jetty.
It has been renovated over the years, but still has an authentic feel.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, parking for 3 cars on the private driveway.
There is enough space for 5 to 6 people. The house has everything needed for a carefree and relaxed stay.
From the living room, you can see the most beautiful sunsets and overlook the water.
The house is spacious and light and has a fully enclosed sunny garden with trampoline adjacent to the paddock where the mini ponies Hansel and Gretel and the big Andalusian Ranchero 'spy' on you. Ideal for dogs, if friendly and social.
The entre of the house is through the conservatory, this provides plenty of light in the house. The decor is warm and homely and makes everyone feel right at home.
The kitchen is large and open and is fully equipped, including a dishwasher.
There is a large table where seven people can easily sit.
On the ground floor is a bedroom with a double bed.
There is also a spacious bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower cabin.
There is another toilet in the hallway with the stairs to the first floor.
On the first floor you will find a bathroom with bath, a large bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together and a smaller bedroom with a box bed for one person.
In the attic there is another bedroom with a box bed 140 cm wide, so it can be used for 2 persons.
All rooms have ample wardrobe space.
From the house, you can walk straight into the (private) woods where you can go for lovely walks. You can also walk for kilometres along the dike of the water with beautiful views, you won't meet anyone.
Nice places nearby: including Texel, the entire coastal strip with its beautiful beaches, the former island of Wieringen, Kolhorn, Huisduinen, Den Helder, Schagen, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Amsterdam.

The nature cottage is located on the Amstelmeer and is also on the edge of a nature reserve with a forest. The special thing is that the forest is completely unmanaged; fallen trees are left lying around and this in turn creates its own flora and fauna.
It is rich in many birds, both in the forest and near the water. For instance, a colony of herons has been living here for years, which are already courting each other diligently and with great fanfare by the end of February. It is also a cacophony of many other birds and the cuckoo also calls to its heart's content. Walking along the dike, you will always see a bird of prey, such as a buzzard or a harrier. In summer you can cool off in the Amstelmeer, where there is a large jetty with several swimming steps. You can go fishing in front of the house on its own private jetty. There are also 2 2-person canoes.
For the little ones, a ride through the woods on pony Hansje is a treat! Older children can brush the ponies and walk with them.
The North Sea beach is within 20 minutes' reach where you can get a breath of fresh air all year round and enjoy everything the beach and sea have to offer in summer.

What a joy we had at this wonderful place! ❤️
Beautiful and especially wonderfully quiet. Exactly the kind of place where you arrive and immediately feel: here we can completely relax.
For us, fishing was of course a big plus. ? Sitting by the water in peace, fishing rod out, and just enjoying. Truly ideal for fishing enthusiasts!
But what made the stay especially nice were the hospitality and friendliness. We felt incredibly welcome, and that really makes a difference.
The surroundings are perfect as well. The peace and fishing can easily be combined with a day at the sea or a nice outing in the area. So you actually have everything: a nice getaway, relaxation, going out, and great fishing.
We look back on our stay with very good feelings and would absolutely come back here again. ?

Great vacation!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sandra's and can wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation.
The location is dreamy: right by the canal, at the edge of the forest, and wonderfully quiet. After our outings, we happily returned "home" every day because one can really unwind here. At the same time, shopping options are just a few minutes away by car, and Den Helder is not far either. A car or bicycle is recommended. Sandra is an incredibly warm and dedicated host. Upon arrival, helpful information sheets are available, and she takes time for her guests. She also provides great excursion tips and is always reachable for questions or responds quickly.
The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable, the Wi-Fi is reliable, and there is plenty of space and seating both indoors and outdoors.
A special highlight is the animals on the farm. Horses, chickens, and dogs are exceptionally friendly, accustomed to guests and dogs, and enjoy small treats.
For our dog, the vacation was perfect: The garden is completely fenced, and right from the house, you can beautifully walk through the forest and along the canal. Across the way, there is also a jetty or a boat ramp for swimming in the Amstelmeer. Additionally, you can fish wonderfully at the private jetty. That we have already booked again for next year probably says more than any review. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Nature pure - Relaxation guaranteed
Cleanliness: a well-maintained garden that certainly takes a lot of time.
The house equipped with great attention to detail, perfectly done all around?
Reality matches the pictures. Perhaps one or two pictures of the toilets/bathrooms and the stairs to the respective floors should be included.
For mom (78 years old, not a problem at all?)
The location is a dream, surrounded by the Alster lake, forest? , horse paddock the opportunity to fish, FissPass can fortunately be obtained from Sandra! ! ! ! !
Good luck fishing! Fresh eggs can be obtained from the chickens? Where can you find such a thing?
The beds were all heavenly. Bed linen, towels, toilet paper - everything was available, and if something was missing... just contact Sandra, she takes care of it directly. WLAN available! !
Weber grill available! ! For us, a car was important as we explored the surroundings a lot and drove all the way to Texel. For cyclists, of course, a dream just like for dog owners. We thank Sandra for the beautiful and relaxing weekend ?

Great and relaxed days
Sandra is very nice and warm-hearted. Her guests are important to her, and she does everything to ensure that everyone feels comfortable.
The garden is dreamy. The chickens have a luxurious life and thank for it every day with plenty of eggs. In the morning, you are greeted by the soft whinnying of the horses.
We had great outings with the kayaks.
Sandra, we had a wonderful time with the girlfriends and are happy to recommend you!

Since childhood, it was my dream to live in this beautiful place. My grandfather lived here for 45 years and operated the bridge to the Amstel Lake here. Prachtig en vooral heerlijk rustig gelegen. Precies zo’n plek waar je aankomt en eigenlijk meteen voelt: hier kunnen we even helemaal ontspannen.
Voor ons was het vissen natuurlijk een groot pluspunt. ? Lekker in alle rust aan het water zitten, hengeltje uit en gewoon genieten. Echt ideaal voor visliefhebbers!
Maar wat het verblijf vooral zo fijn maakte, waren de gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid. We voelden ons ontzettend welkom en dat maakt toch echt het verschil.
Ook de omgeving is perfect. De rust en het vissen kun je heel makkelijk combineren met een dagje naar zee of een leuk uitstapje in de omgeving. Zo heb je eigenlijk alles: lekker weg, ontspannen, eropuit én heerlijk vissen.
Wij kijken met een heel fijn gevoel terug op ons verblijf en zouden hier absoluut nog een keer terugkomen. ?

Die Lage ist traumhaft: direkt am Kanal, am Waldrand und herrlich ruhig. Nach unseren Ausflügen sind wir jeden Tag gerne „nach Hause“ gekommen, weil man hier wunderbar abschalten kann. Gleichzeitig sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar und auch Den Helder ist nicht weit entfernt. Ein Auto oder Fahrrad ist empfehlenswert.
Sandra ist eine unglaublich herzliche und engagierte Gastgeberin. Bei der Ankunft liegen hilfreiche Infoblätter bereit und sie nimmt sich Zeit für ihre Gäste. Außerdem gibt sie tolle Ausflugstipps und ist bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar bzw. meldet sich schnell zurück.
Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, die Betten bequem, das WLAN zuverlässig und sowohl drinnen als auch draußen gibt es reichlich Platz und Sitzmöglichkeiten.
Ein besonderes Highlight sind die Tiere auf dem Hof. Pferde, Hühner und Hunde sind ausgesprochen freundlich, an Gäste und Hunde gewöhnt und freuen sich über kleine Leckerbissen.
Für unseren Hund war der Urlaub perfekt: Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, direkt ab dem Haus kann man wunderschön durch den Wald und am Kanal entlang spazieren. Gegenüber gibt es außerdem einen Steg bzw. eine Bootsrampe zum Baden im Amstelmeer. Am hauseigenen Steg kann man zudem wunderbar angeln.
Dass wir bereits für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht haben, sagt wahrscheinlich mehr als jede Bewertung. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt!

Die Realität entspricht den Bildern. Vielleicht sollte man noch ein oder zwei Bilder von den Toiletten/Badezimmer und den Treppen zu den jeweiligen Etagen mit aufnehmen.

Die Lage ein Traum, umgeben vom Alstermeer, Wald ?, Pferdekoppel die Möglichkeit zum Angeln, FissPass kann man glücklicherweise bei Sandra bekommen!!!!!

Die Betten waren alle himmlisch. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Toilettenpapier- es war alles vorhanden und sollte mal was fehlen………einfach Sandra kontaktieren, Sie kümmert sich direkt darum. WLAN vorhanden.!!

Für uns war ein Auto wichtig, da wir viel die Umgebung erkundet haben und bis nach Texel gefahren sind. Für Fahrradfahrer natürlich ein Traum genau wie für Hundebesitzer. Wir danken Sandra für das wunderschöne und entspannte Wochenende ?
Der Garten ist traumhaft. Die Hühner haben ein Luxusleben und bedanken sich dafür jeden Tag mit ausreichenden Eiern. Morgens wird man mit einem leisen Wiehern der Pferde begrüßt.
Wir haben tolle Ausflüge mit den Kajaks gemacht.
Sandra, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit den Freundinnen und empfehlen dich gerne weiter!
Pure Entspannung möglich.
Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 2 Hunden vor Ort und haben die Zeit in vollen Zügen genossen.
Die Umgebung ist herrlich ruhig und perfekt zum Abschalten – besonders für unsere Hundesenioren war es ideal, da sie sich frei und entspannt bewegen konnten.
Ein absolutes Highlight waren die Tiere auf dem Grundstück: Zwei Pferde und mehrere Hühner haben dem Ganzen eine ganz besondere, idyllische Atmosphäre verliehen. Für Tierliebhaber ist dieser Ort einfach ein kleines Paradies!
Das Haus selbst war sehr gemütlich und bestens geeignet für einen Familienaufenthalt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Klare 5 Sterne – absolut empfehlenswert! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den tollen Kontakt mit Sandra – sie war bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar, sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.
Für uns war es perfekt, dass man mit den zwei Hunden direkt vom Haus aus spazieren gehen kann. Das war total entspannt. Der Strand ist in etwa 20–25 Minuten erreichbar, der nächste Supermarkt in ca. 10 Minuten.
Die Betten sind bequem und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Het huis is mooi, ruim en gezellig landelijke ingericht. En een mooie ruime tuin met voldoende zit mogelijkheden.
Voor de radiozendamateur hobby is het hier verrassend stil op de kortegolfbanden, zeer weinig storing.
Verder hebben wij heerlijk kunnen vissen. Helaas niet een grote karper kunnen vangen. Pas op de laatste dag kregen wij de tip waar deze zich schuil hielden.
Echt een aanrader.
Das Haus – ein Ort mit ganz viel Herz. Die Schlafzimmer sind gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, das gesamte Anwesen eingebettet in eine Bilderbuchkulisse aus Hortensien, Hühnern, Pferden und einer guten Portion Landidylle.
Unsere Tage vergingen mit langen Spaziergängen mit den Hunden, Ausflügen über den Deich oder in die benachbarten Orte. Selbst wenn das Wetter alle vier Jahreszeiten im Gepäck hatte – drinnen war es immer warm, geborgen und voller Charme.
Man merkt sofort: Sandra lebt hier ihren Traum – und lässt ihre Gäste ein Stück davon miterleben.

Wir waren begeistert von der Natur und haben einmal die Kajaks benutzt. Wir waren baden im Amstelmeer und im Kanal, der direkt neben dem Haus liegt. Auch der kleine Wald ist sehr hübsch.
Wir haben einige Ausflüge nach Den Helder, Alkmaar, Zaanse Schans und Amsterdam gemacht – alles maximal eine Stunde mit dem Auto entfernt.
Sandra ist super nett und hilfsbereit, sie hat uns empfangen und das Haus gezeigt.
Wir hoffen, dass wir mal wieder vorbeikommen können!
Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die großzügige Terrasse auf der wir gemeinsam gegessen, und einfach entspannt haben. Auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt – das Haus ist wirklich hundefreundlich.
Auf unserem Steg haben wir abends einen Wein genossen und den Sonnenuntergang angeschaut. Die beiden Kanus, die wir benutzen durften waren der Hit.
Die Umgebung lädt zu schönen Spaziergängen, Fahrradtouren und Ausflügen in die Natur ein. Wer Ruhe sucht und gleichzeitig ein komfortables Zuhause auf Zeit genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

Een warm welkom bij de start en een warm afscheid. Een geweldig begin en eind aan de vakantie.
Heerlijk dat we met de hond ook zo dichtbij kunnen wandelen.
Het hele gezin heeft zich prima vermaakt!!
Wir haben nur das EG im Haus genutzt, da wir zu zweit waren und unsere beiden Hunde dabei hatten.
Per PKW waren wir in guten 20 Minuten am Nordseestrand und in 5 Fussminuten am Amstelmeer.
Es gibt so einiges Schönes in der Umgebung zum Anschauen und für jemanden der gerne angelt, Naturverbunden ist und Ruhe sucht, ein optimales Plätzchen.
Besten Dank an die Gastgeberin Sandra, die immer freundlich und hilfsbereit war.
Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und wir wurden mit 2 Blumensträußen empfangen. Es hat alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Ein Highlight sind auch die Kanus, die man sich jederzeit ausleihen kann.

Het huis is van alles voorzien. De paardjes blijven favoriet, extra leuk dat onze dochter Hans mocht borstelen. En leuk dat er nu ook kippen zijn, tijdens ons verblijf hebben we een paar verse eitjes kunnen eten. We hebben weer genoten van een heerlijke week, wie weet tot de volgende keer!
Bei Ankunft wurden wir mehr als herzlich empfangen, für unsere Hunde lag eine Überraschungstüte bereit, Handtücher, Küchentücher und -papier, Toilettenpapier waren vorhanden und sogar die Betten bereits bezogen, was wir noch nie in einem Ferienhaus erlebt haben.
Sämtliche Beschreibungen waren zutreffend, Sandra hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für uns.
Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und werden definitiv wieder kommen.❤️
Een fijne plek om even bij te tanken.
Het ontvangst van de eigenaresse doet je meteen thuis voelen, wat een aardige gastvrouw ( en ze kan ook nog goed zingen).
Vanaf de privé steiger heeft een broer van mij een mooie snoek van 75 cm. gevangen.
We hebben er erg genoten. Het huis is schoon en fijn dat de hondjes zo welkom zijn.
Het ligt heerlijk rustig aan het water en je wandelt zo het bos in wat bij het huis is. Kortom wij komen nog een keer terug.
Je hebt wel eigen vervoer nodig, of dit nu een fiets is of een auto, dat maakt niet uit.
Een klein bos om de hoek. Heerlijk om de hond uit te laten.
Het huis is goed ingericht en in de keuken heb je voldoende ruimte om een heerlijke maaltijd klaar te maken. De ruime eettafel is niet alleen fijn voor het eten, maar ook om spelletjes (een aantal aanwezig) aan te spelen.
In de tuin is meer dan voldoende gelegenheid om rustig te zitten en te genieten van de kippen (die kakelverse eieren leggen, die je mag pakken) en de paarden die er soms staan. Voor de kinderen een trampoline, wat ook voor vermaak zorgt. Dat deed de hangmat ook, het viel niet mee om daar stabiel in te liggen. Het gaf hilarische momenten.
Kortom een aanrader. Wij gaan komend jaar weer, en dan een week en met ons hele gezin.
Heerlijke tuin, volop privacy, alles groen, met paardjes die je 's morgens begroeten en kippetjes voor een vers eitje.
De kinderen genoten van de trampoline, het buiten zijn en de ritjes op de pony's Hans en Lucky.
's Avonds genoten op de steiger van de ondergaande zon, we hebben met de kano's gevaren en veel vogels gespot, gezwommen in het Amstelmeer.
Ook onze 2 hondjes genoten van de wandelingen in het aangrenzende bos en de vrijheid om heerlijk los te mogen en kunnen lopen.
Manlief heeft veel vissen gevangen (en ook weer teruggegooid) en was ook zéér blij en tevreden.
De plek is zeer centraal gelegen om allerlei uitstapjes te maken naar leuke stadjes en natuurlijk de prachtige stranden. Alles binnen 20 minuten te bereiken.
In 1 woord: Geweldig !
We komen zeker terug !
Sandra, bedankt ook voor de gastvrijheid en de begeleiding van de kinderen met de pony's, het was onvergetelijk.
1 Schlafzimmer ist im Erdgeschoss. Der Zugang zu den anderen Zimmern ist über eine steile Treppe zu erreichen. Die 2. Toilette befindet sich auch im Erdgeschoss und ist für Erwachsene sehr, sehr eng.
Wir empfehlen dieses Haus gern weiter.
