Description

Apartment Wilhelmine is located in Villa Patricia, built in 1882, just a few minutes' walk from the Borkum Kleinbahn and Borkum's city centre. The Wilhelmine apartment is divided into a well-sized living and dining area, which is adjoined by the fully equipped, semi-open kitchen. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and one with a smaller double bed (140cm). The extremely spacious shower room with a walk-in shower and floating bathroom elements are just as stylish and modern and offer you the best possible comfort on your holiday. The stately-looking high ceiling and the large windows of the apartment are particularly striking. One of the highlights of the apartment is the balcony with comfortable seating that invites you to relax and unwind. A sauna is also available in the common room of the house.
In addition, the apartment Wilhelmine includes a storage room, a parking space for your car outside, as well as storage space for bicycles.

In contrast to the high-quality furnishings, only the wardrobe was different.

Beautiful property, well-maintained and centrally located. Tasteful furnishings, stable Wi-Fi, comfortable beds with rather firm mattresses in the large bedroom, and a very soft one in the small bedroom. The broken bedside lamps have now been replaced. A few deficiencies need to be improved: In the storage room with the washing machine, the light was defective, the balcony door on the kitchen side is very warped and hardly opens, all kitchen knives could use sharpening or replacement, the hairdryer in the bathroom is defective. After a few days, the door lock at the entrance was changed, the keys to the accommodation no longer fit, so we basically had to use the back entrance, which was also associated with detours, as the house was last scaffolded due to facade renovation. By late afternoon, it became louder than usual due to drilling noises and hammering, a little warning would have been nice. Otherwise everything was nice, we would still like to come back.

We felt very comfortable again in the Wilhelmine apartment. The furnishings are modern, clean, and very appealing, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the furniture in the living area is comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and very nicely designed. The underfloor heating creates a pleasant warmth. Minor issues, such as a few non-functioning light bulbs, were not bothersome, as the overall lighting is completely sufficient. The mattresses in the bedroom are somewhat worn out, while the mattress in the small room is very comfortable. Only the nesting pigeons in a niche below the balcony were bothersome to us. The central location of the vacation apartment is advantageous. It is also nice that there is a sauna in the house. We would love to come back and have already booked.

We felt very comfortable during the 14 days. The apartment is very well-maintained and a mix of country house style and modernity, which we liked very much. It is nicely centrally located and you are not far from the train station, shopping, pedestrian zone, etc. We also really liked the underfloor heating, the really good beds, the beautiful loggia, and the large bathroom. In the apartment, there is everything you need for a successful vacation, except for a few minor things. We can not only recommend this apartment but also the entire team. A friendly and respectful communication and transparency from the very beginning (also via WhatsApp). At this point, we would unreservedly recommend both the apartment and the entire rental team.
