Canhas is a district of Ponta do Sol on the sunny south coast of Madeira. The village is best known for the traditional cultivation of sugar cane, from which the local rum, sugar cane syrup and the typical 'Bolo de Mel', a honey cake with sugar cane syrup, are made. Thanks to its central location, from Canhas, everything is within easy reach and it is an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful island of Madeira.

Perfect.
Our stay at the villa was perfect! The facilities and services leave nothing to be desired! Monique and Koen took great care of us and gave us many tips for our stay on the island. The pool is a dream and we used it extensively! It was just perfect at the villa.
