Description
When you enter the chalet you will immediately feel at home. It is clean and very well maintained.
Chalet Tobo near Kaprun/Zell am See has a luxurious, cozy and comfortable interior and can accomodate 8 to 10 people.
It is a wonderful family home with a very fully equipped kitchen and is located quite at the very sunny side.
The house has a lovely garden with a nice terace where the bbq is ready for you.
The whole house is heated by underfloor heating, but also has a cozy fireplace.
There are 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 3 toilets. Wifi, satellite LG Oled TV, DVD, Blueray, washer/dryer, ironing board and steam iron, garage with shoe dryer and ski storage, terrace with dining table and chairs, balcony with seating, sunshade and beach umbrella, outdoor heating, garden, lawn chairs, BBQ.
There is an extra sofa bed in the largest bedroom for the 9th and 10th Person. (Ikea Hemnes with normal slatted bases).
In the kitchen you will find a fridge/freezer, 4 burner electric hob with extractor, microwave and oven, Nespresso, Magimix food processor, dishwasher, sandwich maker, kettle and a raclette/fondue machine.
The little ones are also very welcome, there are 2 cots, 2 high chairs, a baby bath and po and there is a kiddy guard stair gate and socket securety.
They can eat ad play at their own children's table.
In the garage you can dry your ski boots on the boot warmer and store your skis in the ski rack.
2 Sets of men's golf clubs and 1 set of ladies'golf clubs are at your disposal free of charge, as well as 2 bicycles and 2 sledges.
In the sommer we offer you the Piesendorf Fun+Card for free. (More info about this card on the webiste of Piesendorf).

Detached on the south side of Walchen (municipality of Piesendorf), free views of the Hohe Tauern and to Kaprun valley, in a quiet sunny position. Luxury, 4 own parking spaces. In winter, no chains required! Child-friendly. Near Kaprun/Zell am See.
4 Minutes from the golf course Kaprun/Zell am See and 15 minutes from the golf course Mittersill.
7 Minutes from the ski lift Areitbahn in Zell am See, 5 from ski lift Maiskogel in Kaprun (with acces to the glacier Kitzsteinhorn).
Nagelkopf skilift nearby.
Excellent walking/cycling area (of high Alpine road). MiniM in the village. Big Supermarket in Kaprun and Zell am See.
Several swimming pools nearby (also natural pools). TauernSpa in Kaprun!

There are numerous good and affordable restaurants nearby.

Full satisfaction
We stayed at Chalet Tobo with 6 adults, our 2 year old grandchild and our dog. For the first time in a long time, this house leaves nothing to be desired. Spacious rooms and above all a super upper floor with kitchen, living room and dining area where you can spend a great holiday together as a large family. We have never experienced a house or holiday flat that was as well equipped as this one. Everything you can think of is there. I can more than recommend Chalet Tobo. We will definitely come back again.

very nice holiday home
The holiday home is beautifully and quietly situated. You have a great view from the balcony and terrace. The house has top equipment and is very clean.
The location offers many different excursion possibilities. From mountain tours to city tours. Highly recommended.

The house unfortunately can't do anything for its landlord.
The house is beautiful and adequately equipped.
BUT:
There are notes everywhere with DON'Ts, which is very annoying and, from my point of view, inappropriate.
Unfortunately, we booked directly with the landlady and agreed to pay a security deposit. I strongly advise against this.
For a lamp - which was not damaged by us - and likely has been there since the house was built, and a toilet seat damaged by us (without automatic lowering function), €200 were withheld. Repeatedly explaining and clarifying that the lamp was not damaged by us was consistently ignored (in an inappropriate tone). And this at a rental price, including final cleaning, that was already at the upper limit. I better not comment on the tone of communication here, but it reflects the overall attitude in the house. As nice as the house was, the awakening when it came to the refund was harsh and exaggerated. Even in Corona times, where everyone is looking out for themselves, this is an absolute NO GO. We will not book anything with this landlord anymore.

Es war schwierig, mit Ihnen über Ihre Beläsigungen zu komunizieren und eine Lösung für die kaputte Lampe und den kaputten Toilettensitz zu finden. Ihrer Meinung nach war die Lampe bereits bei der Ankunft kaputt, aber Sie haben es nicht gemeldet. Sie haben den kaputten Toilettensitz, den Sie mit schwarzen Textil Klebeband zusammen geklebt haben, auch nicht gemeldet. Ich habe selbst noch nie Notitzen mit DON'Ts im Haus gesehen. Für die im Voraus bekannte Endreinigung gibt es einen Festpreis. Es tut mir Leid, wenn Sie mit dem Verlauf der Ereignisse nicht zufrieden sind, aber eine Kaution erscheint erforderlich, wenn Schäden nicht wie in den Mietbedingungen angegeben gemeldet werden. Ich freue mich, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass ich in den fast 10 Jahren, in denen ich das Haus vermiete, fast nie eine Kaution einbehalte musste, und dann noch in Absprache und Erlaubnis des Mieters.

Once again a top holiday in a beautiful house!
For the 8th time we traveled to Chalet Tobo. This time with (in-laws) instead of our friends. Our family had never been there before and immediately found it to be a great house.
A well-furnished chalet with a beautiful view of the mountains. It meets the modern requirements of today and the bedrooms are spacious with ample closet space. In the garage, you can store your skis and it has a drying rack for ski and snowboard boots. The kitchen is fully equipped and especially the dining area is our favorite place to sit.
If you come with small children (even babies) you don't have to bring much, from baby baths to high chairs, it's all there.
The location is just outside Zell am See, so you have to drive to the slopes by car. There is plenty of parking at the Areitbahn. From there, you quickly reach the area of Zell am See and through the new connection, you can also quickly get to the Ski Circus. Kaprun is also easily accessible with the new connecting lift.
Even in the summer, where you have a lot of challenges in Kaprun and Zell am See, you won't get bored.
Mieke, the owner of the house, is friendly and has a lovely hostess on site. During our last vacation, the heater didn't work on the day of arrival. The next day it was immediately fixed and we had no more problems. Mieke is open to tips and suggestions, so that the next time you feel even more at "home" in Chalet Tobo.

I am Mieke from Holland. My husband Mario was a general surgeon and Mieke a laboratory assistant in clinical neurofysiology. I have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. In 2010 we (my husband and I) have built the house and decorated with much pleasure. Unfortunately, my husband passed away in 2015. I find it very important to keep the house clean and in good condition. My caretaker is always there for you if necessary! I would like to play golf and ski myself.
