A spacious, rustic and atmospheric living room with a lounge sofa on which you can relax wonderfully. The open kitchen is equipped with modern appliances such as a Jura coffee maker, quick filter coffee maker, dishwasher, two fridges, freezer, combined microwave, oven and a hob specially designed for large pots. Nothing is more comfortable than a meal together at a long, sturdy table after a day in the mountains. And a convivial place for the many board games and card games
8 spacious bedrooms, 4 with washbasin. The beds have quality box spring mattresses. Also the two bunk beds have good quality mattresses. Three bedrooms have access to the balcony. The luxurious bathrooms have a spacious shower, toilet with built-in bidet, urinal, double sink and hairdryer
The entrance is located above the ground floor, where there is a large sauna with an attractive relaxation area and a screened outdoor area with rain shower. Outdoor shower can be used all year round. This is pure luxury! Enjoy it.
The two terraces, where you can enjoy the sun all day long, have a fantastic view of the Maiskogel family train, the snow-covered glacier of the Kitzsteinhorn and the Hohe Tauern. In the garden a playhouse with a slide in front of the children. In winter they have their own toboggan run in the garden.

Location and surroundings of object
In the small village of Fürth, between Kaprun and Zell am See, enjoy the sun, the wide valley and the impressive mountains surrounding our chalet from our terrace. In winter as well as in summer the perfect place for a fantastic holiday with family or friends. Whether you like skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hiking or après-ski, everything is possible here! Three regions connected on one skipas. With only one skipas: Ski ALPIN CARD. Endless mountain pleasure on the Schmittenhöhe Zell am See, the glacier ski area Kitzsteinhorn - Kaprun and the ski circus Saalbach- Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn. 408 kilometres of slopes and 121 lifts offer fun and skiing enjoyment at the highest level! The ski bus is 70 m away from chalet and takes 5-10 minutes to the ski lifts Kaprun/Kitzsteinhorn and Zell am See. From Zell am See to Krimml there are beautiful winter hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks, 170 km long. From our chalet you can make the most beautiful excursions through different villages.
In summer there are many activities especially for the children, in and around the Zellersee, on the Schmittenhöhe and Maiskogelbahn. For example the adventure park, walking with llamas, canoeing, pedal boats, surfing, Sup Borden, round trips and swimming. The beautiful Zellersee is easily accessible by bike from our chalet. Our chalet is located on the Tauernradweg, which leads through the Salzburgerland, a good starting point for many well marked bike and hiking trails. Within walking distance: the Tauernspa is a wellness oasis for rest and relaxation!
5 minutes away from the chalet, there is a 2 x 18 hole golf course.
At the corner of the street you will find the next restaurant, Samer Matzen famous for its Pingzauer home cooking and another Italian ristorante da Lorenzo. In Zell am See and Kaprun there are still many restaurants with traditional and international cuisine, cosy terraces and nice shops.
Nearby: the Krimml waterfalls, Höhetauern Gross Glockner high alpine road, Kitzbühel Salzburg (1,25 hour).
Not only in summer and winter, but also in spring and autumn, the always cosy villages Zell am See and Kaprun are situated in the best holiday region, where you will never be bored for a moment.

Eine Stornierung, die an einem Samstag oder Sonntag oder an einem gesetzlichen Feiertag in den Niederlanden erfolgt, gilt in den Niederlanden als am nächsten Werktag erfolgt; -Bei einer Stornierung bis 6 Monate vor Aufenthaltsbeginn ist die Anzahlung fällig. -Bei einer Stornierung zwischen 6 Monaten und 4 Monaten Wochen vor Aufenthaltsbeginn ist ein Betrag in Höhe von 50 % des Mietpreises fällig. -Bei einer Stornierung zwischen 4 Monaten und 8 Wochen vor Aufenthaltsbeginn ist ein Betrag von 80 % des Mietpreises fällig. -Bei einer Stornierung 8 Wochen oder weniger vor Beginn des Aufenthalts ist der volle Mietbetrag fällig. Im Falle einer vorzeitigen Beendigung des Aufenthaltes bleibt der volle Mietbetrag geschuldet. Sie müssen eine Reiserücktrittsversicherung bei Ihrem eigenen Versicherer abschließen.

You can leave your luggage in the game room. The staff will make the house ready for you. Therefore you cannot enter the first and second floor. At 4 pm the whole house is available for you.
Bread roll and breakfast service can be used.

We are Jos and Jeanette Rood from the Netherlands. 30 years ago we were the owners of a bakery with 5 branches. After many skiing holidays in Switzerland and Austria we bought our own holiday home in 2016. We renovated the whole house and rented it out in December 2016 for the first time. The biggest hobby of Jos is renovating. Every time we are in the chalet on the Rood, he has a new project. Hospitality we have learned in the bakery. For us it is especially important to have a spacious living room where you can sit at a table when you are 16: to eat, drink and play board games. We often have family and friends in our house and we would like to entertain you. For us, sauna is part of our holidays in winter and summer. We love the mountains and often go hiking, walking, cycling or motorbike riding. Of course in winter: Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and hiking. Here we make dream holidays.
