The child-friendly FAMILY HOUSE (total floor space is 67 m2) is completely tastefully decorated as a beach house. With its sunny private garden, fresh sea air and quiet location in the village, you immediately feel you are in an authentic seaside resort.
THE LIVING ROOM You enter through the hallway into the living room with open kitchen. There is a cosy sitting area with a lovely sofa, a rocking chair, Philips Full Color flat screen TV with various Dutch and foreign channels. And of course indispensable: wireless internet (also called WIFI or WLAN). Safely on the internet with the WIFI exclusively for tenants of the SALZ! family house. The family table offers space for 4 people to eat, play cosy games, work, read a book or newspaper and so on. A high chair is provided as standard.
THE KITCHEN is an open and simple, but fully equipped kitchen. With a 4-burner gas hob, combi microwave, fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle. pans, complete set of plates, glasses and lots of kitchen utensils.
THE FLOOR From the living room, a wooden staircase (please note: steep stairs, always accompany very small children) leads to the bedrooms and bathroom with toilet. The master bedroom is spacious, has a high-quality bed and mattress, and a wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds with high-quality mattresses and a wardrobe. Between the two bedrooms is a door that can be opened or closed as desired. The bathroom has a spacious shower, sink and toilet. Please note that the toilet is only upstairs.
THE GARDEN The combination of and detached family holiday home with a spacious (90 m2) sunny garden with dining table, picnic corner, hammock and free parking space is unique in Zandvoort. The garden is exclusively for the use of you as a tenant.
Bed linen, towels, tea towels, everything is included. Please do bring your own beach towel. The central heating boiler was renewed in 2020 and is serviced periodically. For safety, there are smoke detectors, a carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit and fire extinguishers.
Zandvoort is an ancient seaside resort with a lot of historical allure. Over the years and centuries, many famous visitors from the Netherlands, Germany and other countries have come to enjoy the beach. SALZ! is then not located directly on the beach or dunes, but really breathes the atmosphere of a real beach house.
Perhaps SALZ! family house is the best holiday home in Zandvoort. In any case, we as landlords do our best to make you as a visitor feel comfortable. So far, given the great reviews, we are succeeding quite well. The entire house and garden are exclusively for you and your travelling companions. On the driveway there is space to park your car. The friendly neighbours use the path to get into their own backyard.
We are very sorry, but the house is not suitable for disabled people.
The house is located in a residential area, so please respect our neighbours. This is not a house for loud music, weed smoking or partying. Thank you for your understanding.
FREE PARKING:
Parking is always on one side in the parking lot so that neighbours can pass. A large car can be parked in the driveway of our house (free of charge our house is further down the street) or on the public road or at Parking 'the South' (both paid parking).

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

SANDVOORT BY THE SEA IS KNOWN FOR:
Zandvoort is known as a seaside resort, the beach, the sailing, surfing and kiting at sea, the beach clubs, the dunes with deer, the freshly-sent salty sea air good for anyone working in air-conditioned rooms. Known for its sporting events such as Formula 1 at the CM Circuit Zandvoort, the Spartan Race beach editions, the Circuit Run, Walking Tour 'the 30 of Zandvoort', on 1 January every year the fresh New Year's dip in the sea, cycling tour Omloop van Zandvoort. And, of course, the trendy beach clubs and parties in neighbouring Bloemendaal aan Zee.
DISTANCE TO CITIES AND LOCATIONS
The house and village are just 10 minutes' drive from Haarlem's historic city centre. A 20-minute drive from the flowers and Keukenhof. A 25-minute drive from Schiphol Airport. And, of course, a 35-minute drive from central Amsterdam. Of course, Haarlem, Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport are also easily and comfortably reached via Zandvoort train station.
The centre with all shops is a few minutes' walk away. A nice route on the way to the beach with all its lovely beach clubs (even in winter, some are open 365 days a year!).
