The spacious 4.5 room apartment is located on the 1st floor of a two-family house and offers space for 5 people. It consists of a living and dining room with a comfortable sofa set, a large dining table and exit to the balcony. The apartment has a very spacious and well equipped open kitchen with breakfast bar. Two double bedrooms and another bedroom with single bed complete the offer. A bathroom with double washbasin, tub/WC and washing machine, as well as another bathroom with shower/WC are available. A private covered parking space is available. Access to the apartment via stairs.

The vacation house Casa Lydia is located between the villages of Brione and Contra and offers a great panoramic view of the lake and surroundings. You can reach the center of Brione in about 15 minutes on foot. There you find different restaurants, a bakery and the bus stop. There are shopping centers in Locarno or Tenero, which can be reached by car in about 10 minutes. Explore the village and the surrounding area on the countless, varied walks and excursions. The many restaurants and grotti in Brione or Contra offer the perfect atmosphere to relax after the walks.

The family-friendly vacation apartment is located in a quiet residential area with a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding area. You reach the center of Brione in about 10 to 15 minutes on foot. There you will find restaurants, a small store and the bus stop. Larger shopping centers are in Locarno or Tenero, which can be reached by car in about 10 minutes.

The community of Brione is situated above Minusio on the hillside with a view of Lake Maggiore. Brione is included in the Unesco world cultural heritage. The intact charming village offers the Nucleo (old village center), its typical rustici, up to dreamlike villas on the hillside. Explore the village and the surrounding area on the countless, varied walks and excursions. The many restaurants and grotti in Brione offer the perfect atmosphere to relax after the walks. Enjoy a unique nature, the view of an enchanting landscape, mountains and Lake Maggiore.
A popular excursion destination is Val Resa, the "smallest valley in Locarnese". Starting from the center of the village, following the old mule track, now a road, you can enjoy an incomparable view of the countryside and unspoilt nature, and then reach other starting points for wonderful excursions in the direction of Cardada, Monti di Lego, Mergoscia or the Collina Alta path. Along the way, surrounded by green and silence, you will find places of rare beauty and various places to stop for a bite to eat.

Beautiful location with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and Monte Tamaro. Very large beautiful kitchen. The apartment stays nice and cool even during summer temperatures.

Our family spent a wonderful 10 days at Casa Lydia and look forward to coming back to stay again soon. Watching the sun rise and set from the windows of the apartment and keeping cozy by the fire at night are some of the highlights. As well, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to dine in and enjoy the sparkling lights across the lake. We found a lovely path that led down to to the town and lakeshore, directly from Casa Lydia and wondered through all of the local vineyards and classic Ticinese homes. Definitely recommend this place.

Everything you could wish for is there and the kitchen is really generously equipped. It really makes you want to cook some Ticino recipes... Of course, the view from the balcony over the lake and mountains to Italy is fantastic. We were surprised at how well and thoughtfully the holiday apartment is furnished and how many loving details spread coziness. The house itself is very quiet, a private parking space is of course worth its weight in gold so high up the mountain. From registration to the sent directions to the key return, everything went smoothly and pleasantly. Many thanks to all involved at Fewo Tessin! These two weeks have made us eager for more and we will gladly come back to your address.
