The lower floor offers a spacious living area with rustic furnishings, a comfortable sectional sofa and large dining table, separate kitchen and guest toilet. Upstairs is a bedroom with double bed and exit to the balcony, a bedroom with French bed, a bedroom with single bed and the bathroom with bath. The covered terrace in front of the house provides for harmonious and entertaining evenings, the large garden with its refreshing pool and patio invites you to chat.
This family-friendly house is situated on a quiet residential area in a side street between the villages Brione and Contra with stunning panoramic views of the lake and surrounding area. The center of Brione can be reached in about 10 to 15 minutes. There you will find several restaurants and bus stop. Shopping centers are in Locarno or Tenero, which can be reached in about 10 minutes by car
The municipality of Brione is located over Minusio on the mountainside overlooking the Lake Maggiore. Brione is included in the World Heritage Site by Unesco. The charming village starting from the Nucleo (old village), the typical Rustici, to the stunning villas and the hillside on is wonderful to visit. Explore the village and further afield on the countless, diverse possible walks and excursions. There are many restaurants and Grotti in Brione that provide the perfect atmosphere to relax after the walks. Enjoy a unique nature, the prospect of an enchanting landscape, mountains and Lake Maggiore.

Very nice house with a magnificent view! However, the pool is in a mediocre condition compared to our previous stay three years ago. Too bad ... Very well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. I recommend it 100%!

Price/performance is great at Testa Nera. The absolute highlight for us during the very hot week was the pool! It is very large and pleasantly cool even at hot temperatures. It stays pleasantly cool on the lower floor. It is advisable to bring fans for the bedrooms upstairs. Definitely take mosquito candles with you!

Very beautiful and quiet location with a view from Tenero to Ascona. Old, beautifully renovated house with many seating and relaxing areas (at the back by the pool or at the front on balconies/seating areas). Sufficient space for 6 people. Overall, good equipment standard. Easy rental and handling.

Thank you for a wonderful week of vacation in this great house in beautiful Ticino! The location and view are exclusive, there is enough space for at least 5 people, the house is equipped with everything needed for daily use, we could have contacted the management at any time for concerns and questions (very friendly and uncomplicated contact!), the pool was kept in operation as we requested, unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't use it anymore, everything is kept very clean and simply cozy! It was a pleasure for us :)

We, 4 people & 2 small dogs, were able to spend a beautiful and very relaxing holiday week in this cozy house! The garden with the swimming pool is simply wonderful! The water was clean & pleasantly cool; 4 sun loungers and 2 sun umbrellas were also available & in good condition. The stone table with benches provides enough space for a cozy get-together. The kitchen is very well equipped and practical. The rooms are very pretty & cozy (mattresses are rather hard). An all-around great house! We will be happy to come back next year & are already looking forward to it.

Holiday at Testa Nera was perfect, nice well kept house, very quiet, great view and the pool is perfect as well as the whole pool area. Facilities in the house also very good. We will definitely be back.
