Welcome to the beautiful fishing village of Greetsiel - the East Frisians say: Moin!
Our holiday flat Friesensünn is ideal for family and couple holidays. It is quiet but centrally located. The quaint harbour and the cosy alleys with shopping facilities and numerous restaurants are within walking distance (approx. 350m). There is a large children's adventure playground on the adjacent green and parking area. A shopping opportunity / full-range store with bakery can also be reached within a few minutes on foot.
The holiday flat was newly built in 2016 and tastefully furnished and equipped with attention to detail. It has a spacious - approx. 35 sqm - and light-flooded living room with integrated, comfortably equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher, freezer) and a beautiful dining area. Here you can spend cosy hours with the whole family even in bad weather
Further technical comfort for the whole family is provided by the 50" Smart-TV. The entire flat is equipped with underfloor heating and high-quality vinyl flooring (bathroom with tiled floor).
The many windows, some of which are floor-to-ceiling, with attractive curtains and pleated blinds create a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Electric blinds and fly screens offer you additional comfort
The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a large sliding-door wardrobe with ample storage space. It is large enough to accommodate a baby cot (baby travel cot is available)
The second bedroom is equipped with a single bed.
All beds are equipped with duvets in the comfort oversize 1.55m x 2.20m and are allergy-friendly.
In the modern bathroom, which is also flooded with light, there is a walk-in shower (with underfloor heating) and a towel radiator.
In the attic, which is accessible via a staircase outside the living room, there are two further sleeping possibilities and a children's play corner. The skylights are equipped with Velux blackout blinds, which provide excellent darkening.
A special highlight of this flat is the approx. 14 sqm south-facing balcony, where you can enjoy the sun's rays and the great view of the greenery. All in all, this high-quality flat leaves nothing to be desired and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
A parking space is located directly at the house, as well as a lockable room for bicycles incl. charging station for your e-bikes.

Discover the special flair of this charming town. The picturesque old town with a variety of shopping and gastronomic facilities, the 600-year-old fishing harbour with its impressive crab cutters and the famous Greetsiel twin mills.
Only about 600 m away is a very idyllic lake in the Leyhörn nature reserve, which invites you to swim.
The East Frisian islands are practically on the doorstep. Ferries depart from Emden and Norddeich (20 km away) to Borkum, Juist and Norderney, among others. In summer, excursion boats leave directly from Greetsiel harbour.

A cancellation of the reservation is possible at any time and without any reason, in writing. The cancellation fees are as follows: - up to 40 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price - up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price - up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental price - otherwise (less than 14 days before the start of the rental period) 100% of the rental price, provided that re-renting was not possible. In case of re-rental, we will retain a flat fee of 75€. Should there be a travel or accommodation ban issued by the municipality of Krummhörn, the district of Aurich, or the state of Lower Saxony due to COVID-19 at the time of your trip, you can cancel free of charge.

Super beautiful holiday apartment
There is nothing missing. The apartment is very well and tastefully furnished. The beds are very big and comfortable. The location is very central, you can quickly reach the harbor and the shops. The contact with the landlady Mrs. Schlusemann was very friendly and the handover of the apartment by her friendly employee was exemplary. We have rarely been able to take over such a clean vacation rental. Even a defective light bulb was replaced on the same day. We will definitely come back.

Vacation with 3 grandchildren
Despite the bad weather, we had a great stay in Greetsiel. The vacation apartment is beautiful and tastefully furnished. There was nothing missing. A large playground is only 100m away from the house and the children could also walk there alone. From the large balcony, the equipment also left nothing to be desired, one can keep an eye on the children. The vacation apartment was very clean and the additional linen package is highly recommended. We would love to come back again.

Everything is perfect!
A beautiful, spacious and very tastefully furnished holiday apartment where you lack nothing. Quiet and central location. Town center, supermarket can be easily reached on foot in a short distance.
Mrs. Schlusemann is a very nice, accommodating landlord and the on-site support is great as well.
We can highly recommend the holiday apartment and we would love to come back.

Wonderful holiday apartment with great amenities
We were already for the second time in the FeWo Friesensuenn and were once again thrilled. Both the location and the furnishings and equipment of the FeWo are simply great. The entire FeWo is very tastefully decorated and the equipment appears to be of high quality and well thought out.
There is nothing missing in the kitchen (even dishwashing liquid, kitchen towels, dishwasher tablets, toaster, egg cooker, juicer and microwave and oven as well as a huge fridge + freezer available). The balcony is very large and there are also enough furniture and a large umbrella.
The bathroom is nice and big, offers enough storage space, a walk-in and spacious shower, and a pleasant underfloor heating.
The beds in the bedrooms are nice and big, the mattresses very comfortable and there is more than enough storage space for clothing. Everything is very clean and tidy; we rarely had such a clean vacation rental!!
We traveled with a toddler (2 years old) and there were also many play opportunities (play mat, cars, Duplo bricks, books, doll's stroller) and child-friendly equipment (potty, toilet seat, stool).
The communication went smoothly. We will gladly come back!
