Holiday on a spacious lakeside property and enjoy absolute privacy. This possibility is offered by the dreamlike holiday home "See-Refugium". With 60 m² of living space, the holiday home offers enough room for 2 people. From the open living/dining area, with integrated kitchen, you have a fantastic view of Lake Schwerin. The two bedrooms, one with a single bed, one with a double bed, create an ideal resting area with their cosy atmosphere. A desk with a view of the lake is available for your holiday home office. The spacious bathroom is equipped with a shower. For entertainment, satellite TV, WLAN, radio and a collection of books are at your disposal. Additional comfort is provided by underfloor heating and electric shutters on all windows.
From the fully furnished terrace you can enjoy a unique, unobstructed view of Lake Schwerin. The 2000 m² property offers direct lake access, with its own shore area as well as a private bathing and boating jetty. You can use the hotel's own rowing boat free of charge. The sandy bottom of the lake slopes gently and is ideal for swimming. The property is fenced and not visible. You can safely park your car and bicycles under the carport on the property. Due to the wonderful location on the edge of the village, the lake is on one side of the property and a field with a strip of forest on the other.
Please note: Due to the unprotected slope of the property, the house is not suitable for small children.

The surrounding area within walking distance
Seehof is a well-kept and tranquil place on Schwerin's Outer Lake. Guests who come here feel very much at home. The village is surrounded by fields, woods and lots of water. In the village you can walk to the Seehof holiday park, a restaurant and snack bar, the outdoor lake swimming pool, a small shop and a bus stop. There is an hourly bus from Lübstorf railway station, the bus stop is about 150 metres from the house.
Leisure and excursions
Due to the central location between the state capital Schwerin and the Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Lübeck, you have short distances to countless leisure activities and sights. The Baltic Sea is also only 20 minutes away by car. Popular destinations include the Wonnemar leisure and adventure pool, the island of Poel, the old town and harbour of Wismar, Schwerin Castle and the Schlosspark Center shopping centre in Schwerin.

15 days in the "House by the Lake"?
A wonderful small house with a unique location and a brilliant view of the lake.
Spacious and good for 2 people. The second bedroom is a passage room and more of a backup option. Comfortable beds and a large shower in the bathroom for tall people. Insect screens on the windows - a relief near the lake with many mosquitoes.
The kitchen is a bit small and cramped but has everything you need. The cleanliness upon arrival could have been better for THAT rental price - had to vacuum first before the suitcases could be unpacked... not okay!?
Carport for the car and covered parking for the bicycles - great!!!!
We were allowed to take from the fruit trees on the property (apple and pear tree) - thank you very much.?
The sunrise and the morning silence over the lake - simply wonderful. Those seeking silence and seclusion are exactly right here. One note I still have to conclude: If you are supposed to bring bed linen (the sheet can be obtained on site), the size should also be specified in the house description (135 x 200), as there are different sizes and the "guest care/neighbors" unfortunately could not say anything about it. All in all, however, a nice break for us . . . . ?

Geräumig und gut für 2 Personen. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer und eher nur eine Ausweichmöglichkeit. Bequeme Betten und im Bad eine große Dusche für große Personen. Fliegengitter an den Fenstern - in Seenähe mit vielen Mücken eine Erleichterung.
Küche etwas klein und eng aber alles da, was man so braucht.
Die Sauberkeit bei Ankunft hätte bei DEM Mietpreis besser sein können - musste erst mal durchsaugen, bevor die Koffer ausgepackt werden konnten... nicht ok! ?
Carport für das Auto und überdachter Stellplatz für die Fahrräder - super!!!!
Von den Obstbäumen auf dem Grundstück (Apfel - und Birnbaum) durften wir nehmen - herzlichen Dank. ?
Der Sonnenaufgang und die morgendliche Stille über dem See - einfach wunderbar. Wer Stille und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist hier genau richtig.
Eine Anmerkung hätte ich noch um Schluss: Wenn man schon Bettwäsche mitbringen soll (das Laken kann man vor Ort bekommen), sollte in der Hausbeschreibung auch die Größe angegeben werden (135 x 200), da es ja unterschiedliche Größen gibt und die "Gästebetreuung/Nachbar“ dazu leider auch nichts sagen konnte.
Alles in allem aber eine schöne Auszeit für uns .... ?
Ein echter Ort für Ruhe, Entspannung und Erholung.
Auch die Umgebung ist top, schnell ist man in Schwerin oder auch Wismar.
Einfach nur empfehlenswert ???
Einrichtung einfach, aber geschmackvoll. Alles vorhanden, was man benötigt.
Positiv:
ein schönes Haus in wundervoller, von Natur umgebener Gegend. Die Stille ist einfach nur gigantisch! Riesengroßes Grundstück und große Terrasse mit tollem Blick zum See. Vom Standort aus kann man tolle Ausflüge an die Ostsee oder ins nähere Umland machen. Ist alles top erreichbar.
Negativ:
Es müsste vom Vermieter etwas Geld für Reparaturen in die Hand genommen werden. Die Steckdosen auf der Terrasse funktionieren nicht. Die Risse in den Fliesen der Dusche müssten dringend repariert werden. Das Doppelbett ist etwas zu niedrig für jemand, der Schwierigkeiten mit den Knochen hat. Der Sandkasten für die Kid's könnte auch erneuert werden.
Für Angler wichtig: das angeln vom Steg aus ist aufgrund des langen, flach und sandigen Uferbereichs erfolglos. Vom Boot aus aber super.
Alles in allem sind wir doch sehr zufrieden gewesen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. MV wir kommen gerne wieder!
