Welcome to Ellös at Orust in Bohuslän with both golf, restaurant, sea and salty baths just nearby. Here you live in a tastefully decorated barn from the beginning of the 20th century with high ceilings and exposed beams. The entrance faces the farm's common large lawn with a few single neighbors who live all year round. A cozy kitchen with dining area and high chair and door directly to the patio at the front. To the left is a bedroom with two single beds that are each 80cm. Living room with sofa and armchair and desk. Large bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Via a steeper staircase you reach a cozy sleeping loft with two single beds 90cm. Small children are not recommended as the stairs are steep and there is no gate. There is a common laundry room for everyone who lives on the farm to use. On the outside there is outdoor furniture and barbecue. You will enjoy yourself fantastically well in this cottage which feels a bit like the present but in the old style. If you want to explore the area around Ellös, you must not miss a dip at the bathing area inside Ellös center. There is a bath for children, adults and is handicapped accessible with a wheelchair accessible. Shallow water and further out there are jumping towers and cliffs. When you have finished bathing, there is a playground right next door and when the children are hungry for ice cream, an ice cream kiosk 100 meters away. In the evening there are several different restaurants and if you are craving seafood, there are factory sales in the harbor. Do not miss a trip to Malö and Flatön via free car ferry. Here are i.a. famous Handelsman Flink with restaurant & café. A few km south is Hälleviksstrand with cozy Mias Sjöbodscafé and seal safari and Mollösund, a fishing village from the 16th century with several restaurants and cafes. Nösund with Nösunds Värdshus (spa and restaurant) is also worth a visit. An oasis to long for back to!

Perfect place for a family outing, everything was clean and well-maintained, the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, which we really appreciated, good Wi-Fi and a cozy living room, a bit noisy at night due to the neighbors, but nothing too bad, would definitely come back if we visit this area again!

The location is quiet and close to the beach, just a short drive away. We loved the nearby restaurants, especially the seafood spot in the harbor. The house itself was cozy and had everything we needed for our vacation.

We had a fantastic time at the holiday home in Ellös! The charm of the barn was delightful, with its high ceilings and rustic decor. The kids loved the loft area, and the nearby beach was perfect for afternoon swimming. Highly recommended to visit the ice cream stand after a day in the sun!

The steep stairs to the gallery were a bit tricky, but the children had a lot of fun there! Overall a nice place to linger with a charming character, the grill area was a bonus!
