Description
ANNO 1833. We are very proud of the old lady, which is available to you as a holiday home for 8 people. We have put a lot of time and attention to detail into the renovation and furnishing. Where possible, we have preserved old elements - such as the monastery stones in the entrance area or the old floorboards. Although it has a few "quirks" here and there, it still exudes the quaint charm that we love about the house. In some places we have uncovered the quarry stone wall. Some of the furniture is homemade from old, used wood. If you are of "average" height, it is better to bend down at one or two of the passages.
As we have two small furry noses ourselves, dogs are of course welcome. Four dog bowls, two blankets and two pillows are available for your four-legged friends.
The old quarry stone farmhouse is located in the small village of Büscheich, a district of Gerolstein in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel. The village with its 450 inhabitants lies at the foot of the 617 m high Dietzenley and directly on the popular Eifelsteig hiking trail. Büscheich itself lies at an altitude of just under 500 metres. It is about 4 km to the centre of Gerolstein. In Gerolstein you can find everything your heart desires.
The house has a ground floor and an upper floor, distributed over 155 sqm and is heated with a pellet heating system. In the transitional period you can conjure up cosy warmth with the fireplace. The property has a total size of approx. 560 sqm
Already in the ENTRANCE AREA, sofa, armchairs & Co. invite you to linger by the large fireplace.
Furthermore, on the GROUND FLOOR there are the 1st and 2nd bedroom, a room with table football, the 1st bathroom (daylight, shower, washbasin, WC) and the access to the barn. The barn offers enough space to park bicycles or motorbikes. You will also find the wood for the fireplace there
On the upper floor you will find bedrooms 3 and 4 (passage room), bathroom no. 2 (shower, washbasin, toilet), an anteroom with day bed/sofa and the large living/dining area with kitchen.
THE KITCHEN is equipped with sink, dishwasher, oven, induction hob and separate refrigerator. Furthermore, coffee machine (Senseo & filter coffee), kettle and toaster are at the start. Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans & Co. obligatory.
MEDIA: Small stereo system (radio | CD | Bluetooth) in the living / dining area, flat screen TV & free W-LAN. We have a W-LAN amplifier in the upper hallway, so you should have reception (almost) in the whole house. In the table football room there is a hi-fi amplifier with hi-fi speakers and mobile phone connection.
GARDEN: You can make yourself comfortable in the garden both in front of and behind the house. The property is completely fenced in with a bonanza fence or wire mesh fence. There is a large barbecue and seating in front of and behind the house.

Great weekend with friends
We spent a wonderful extended weekend here with 8 people on the occasion of our golden wedding anniversary. The old house radiates a warmth upon first entering that makes you feel immediately "at home." This is certainly due to the lovingly furnished interior and decoration down to the last corner. In particular, the decision to preserve as many original details of the house as possible and to skillfully highlight them contributes to this. The lovely terrace and the charming overgrown garden quickly made us relax and are very idyllic. We would have liked to stay longer. There are so many pretty corners, and you constantly discover something new. That the equipment with kitchen utensils, bed linen, towels, gas grill, swivel grill, and a thousand other little things was more than complete is not surprising with so much attention to detail. Not to forget that everything our dog lady Gina needed was also available, and she felt comfortable right away.
A truly wonderful house with its own soul, history, and charm.
Not to forget the great landlords who really thought of everything and whom one would envy for this special house.
We felt very, very comfortable and would like to thank our landlords once again for these super beautiful days.

A dream house
We were there for 4 days. We were completely thrilled with this beautiful, lovingly restored house. It is large, clean, tidy, and everything you need is available. The living kitchen is the highlight, and there is always something new to discover. Our dog was also very happy. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for that.

A very pleasant and quiet stay.
In the communications, the responses were always prompt and also empathetic, which gave us a good feeling.
The house is cozy and creatively decorated. We really enjoyed the quiet location of the house and the terrace.
Upon arrival, we found an unexpected gift.
We had a short but very nice time.

A beautiful house
The house has been lovingly restored, and we immediately felt very comfortable. The terrace and the small garden are just as cozy as the cute rooms and the large living/dining area. We would come back right away. Those seeking peace are in the right place here. Everything you need is reachable in 10 minutes in Gerolstein. All in all, a perfect short vacation with a nice landlord. Individual wishes are taken into account here. Thank you very much, Mrs. Dötsch!

Rest and relaxation in the Vulkaneifel
With a very nice contact with the host family, the vacation started already in the planning phase. We found a elaborately and lovingly furnished farmhouse, where we felt almost at home. A very quiet place for peace and relaxation.

Dass die Ausstattung mit Küchenutensilien, Bettwäsche, Handtüchern, Gasgrill, Schwenkgrill und tausend anderen Kleinigkeiten mehr als komplett war, ist bei soviel Liebe zum Detail nicht verwunderlich.
Nicht zu vergessen, dass auch für unsere Hundedame Gina alles vorhanden war was Fellnasen so brauchen und auch sie sich sofort wohl gefühlt hat.
Ein wirklich tolles Haus mit einer eigenen Seele, Geschichte und Charme.
Nicht zu vergessen die tollen Vermieter die wirklich an alles gedacht haben und die man um dieses besondere Haus beneiden möchte.
Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und möchten uns für diese super schönen Tage nochmals bei unseren Vermietern bedanken.

Het huis is gezellig en op een creatieve manier ingericht. We hebben
echt kunnen genieten van de rustige ligging van het huis en het terras.
Bij aankomst vonden we een onverwacht cadeautje.
We hebben een korte maar heel fijne tijd gehad.
Wir sind viel in der Umgebung zum Wandern unterwegs gewesen, von der Haustür aus oder auch um Gerolstein herum. Für die Terrasse war es uns abends zu kühl aber wir haben gerne vor dem Kamin gesessen.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Danke für das unvergessliche Wochenende.

Es war mit Abstand das schönste Haus das wir bis jetzt gebucht hatten. Auch meine Freunde waren total begeistert

Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man zum Leben benötigt.
Auch der Ausgangspunkt ist für Wandertouren ideal. Nach Gerolstein sind es nur wenige Autominuten.
Gerne kommen wir wieder.
Es gab viel zu entdecken in diesem wunderschönen alten Haus. Allein die Aufteilung im Innern ist schon eine wunderschöne Entdeckungsreise :)
Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.
Das Haus ist liebevoll und wunderbar stimmig eingerichtet.

Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und auch sonst fehlte es an nichts.
Sehr sauber, top gepflegt und eine schöne, ruhige Umgebung.
Die lieben Vermieter sind jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und wir haben uns schweren Herzens wieder auf den Heimweg gemacht.
In der Umgebung erreicht man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto. Im Ort selber kann man gut die ein oder andere schöne große oder kleinere Runde spazieren gehen.
Und bei schlechtem Wetter freut man sich schon fast, dass man im Haus bleiben und die Atmosphäre genießen kann, ohne was zu verpassen.
Ruhepol und Erholung pur! Wer Action braucht, der sollte sich besser anderweitig umsehen. ?
Frau Holle hat uns als Geschenk eine tolle Winterlandschaft gezaubert.
Wir fanden ein blitzsauberes und sehr wohnlich eingerichtetes Haus vor, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt .
Die nette Vermieterin hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen haben !
Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an, wie Zuhause gefühlt.
Dieses Haus ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail renoviert worden. Man merkt hier das handwerkliche Geschick und den guten Geschmack. Hier wurde mit Leidenschaft gewerkelt.
Diese wunderschön schimmernden Lichterketten verzaubern zusätzlich das Haus.
Wir haben uns zu 8 Mädels mit unseren Hunden hier pudelwohl gefühlt und wollten überhaupt nicht weg.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
Die Landschaft ist perfekt um Ruhe zu finden und abzuschalten. Die Vermieter sind unfassbar nett, sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar.
Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal☺️
Man hat genügend Räumlichkeiten für dies und das, ob am Kicker, am Holzofen oder im Vorraum zu Küche, Ess&Wohnzimmer.
prima sauber. Wir wurden dort zu Profis am Kickerautomat und Wandervögel in der schönen Umgebung. Alles in Allem ein gelungenes Wochenende. Wir waren begeistert und haben das Haus
genau so vorgefunden wie beschrieben.
