Description
We rent out our beautiful chalet in Lathum near Arnhem. The chalet is located directly on the IJssel; from the terrace or the living room you have an unobstructed view over the IJssel and its ship traffic. On the other side of the park is the lake Rederlaagse Meeren—whether you want to fish, surf, go boating, swim, or simply enjoy a cocktail at the beach bar (seasonal), everything is possible. The park has its own swimming pool (outdoor, seasonal), great playgrounds for children, as well as a restaurant, a snack bar, a café, and a small shop selling fresh baked goods, drinks, and other items. In the same building, a Fun Bowl alley has just opened—fun for young and old—or try your hand at Minigolf In The Dark. You can also rent bicycles or a boat for a trip on the lake.
In the surrounding area, there are many possibilities for young and old, whether a hike or bike tour through the Veluwe recreation area, a visit to Burgers Zoo, or a stroll through the beautiful old town of Arnhem.
Our chalet has 2 bedrooms, one with a 180x200 double bed (box spring), one with 2 single beds. It is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, grill, lounge furniture, and outdoor dining area. Of course, there is also a stove, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, Senseo and filter coffee machine, waffle iron, mixer, oven with grill, and air fryer on site.
The chalet is completely fenced or bordered by a dense hedge. Your four-legged friend is also very welcome here. We used the autumn to install a new terrace roof, so you can sit outside even when the weather is not so nice.
From spring 2027, a stand-up paddle board will also be available for you, for anyone who has always wanted to try it or already knows how. Or you can relax on our large swinging lounger and look out over the water and into nature.
Of course, we also offer free Wi-Fi and a smart TV.

Top accommodation ??
A beautiful house, very cozy and furnished with attention to detail. Very clean!! Top condition! Everything needed is available in the kitchen. And the highlight is the view of the river from the living room and the beautiful garden. Perfect with a dog, as it is completely fenced. Very nice contact with the hosts – highly recommended, thank you for the great stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

New Year's Vacation
We were here in the holiday park with friends for New Year's Eve. The contact was great, and responses were always prompt.
Starting at 6 PM, there was a fantastic fireworks display visible across from the riverbank this year. It lasted well past midnight – we loved it. P.S. We would have preferred to turn the couch to watch comfortably (maybe something to consider?!).
Otherwise, everything we needed was there. We can't say much about the location since the weather didn't cooperate for outings. But no one can be blamed for that.
We are happy to recommend it further.

Pure relaxation
So, the landlords get 5 stars plus! Very nice, we were completely informed about everything via WhatsApp. No questions were left unanswered.
The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, really everything you could need is there, and it is very nicely decorated.
The location of the apartment is perfect, directly overlooking the Ijssel and very quiet. The place itself doesn't offer much, but we wanted it quiet :-)
The nicest thing was just to rest in the swinging bed on the large terrace/garden overlooking the Ijssel. We were lucky with the weather accordingly.
We would definitely like to come back sometime.
Until then, we wish the Frank family all the best and thank you again for the great communication.

Ab 18 Uhr war dieses Jahr ein super Feuerwerk gegenüber dem Flussufer zu sehen. Bis weit nach Mitternacht ? wir fanden es toll. P.S. Hätten am liebsten die Couch gedreht um gemütlich schauen zu können (vielleicht eine Überlegung?! ?).
Ansonsten war alles da, was wir gebraucht hätten.
Zur Lage können wir wenig sagen, da dass Wetter für Ausflüge nicht mitgespielt hat. Aber da kann ja keiner was dafür.
Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.
Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist wirklich alles da, was man benötigen könnte, und es ist sehr schön eingerichtet.
Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, direkt mit Blick auf die Ijssl und sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Ort an sich hat nicht viel zu bieten,aber wir wollten es ja ruhig :-)
Am schönsten war es, einfach nur in dem Schaukelbett auf der grossen Terrasse/ Garten mit Blick auf die Ijssel, zur Ruhe zu kommen. Wir hatten dementsprechend auch Glück mit dem Wetter.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall gern einmal wiederkommen.
Bis dahin wünschen wir Familie Frank alles Gute und bedanken uns noch einmal für die tolle Kommunikation.

Frau Frank, die Vermieterin, ist eine sehr nette Person, die für alle Fragen stets zur Verfügung stand.
Wir können das Chalet uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
Wir fanden das Haus sehr sauber und auch mit gewünschter Bettwäsche und Handtücher vor.
Das Chalet war sehr sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet.
Die Küche ist sehr gut bestückt und auch mit großen Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank.
Durch die großen Fenster sehr hell und mit tollem Blick auf eine große Wiese und den Fluss.
Auch der Aussenbereich ist sauber und lädt (im Sommer) definitiv zum verweilen ein.
Chalet Frank ist definitiv weiter zu empfehlen und auch wenn es eine kontaktose An und Abreise war Frau Frank bei Fragen stets telefonisch erreichbar.
Es war bestimmt nicht der letzte Urlaub im Chalet Frank
