Description
Villa Ganymedes is a new villa built of natural stone, which leaves nothing to be desired with its clean lines and modern look. The interior is a mix of industrial style and warm wood tones.
It was built on a plot of over 6,000 sqm and offers a fantastic view over the valley, to the White Mountains and the Aegean Sea.
The villa, which has just been completed, is approx. 190 m2 in size and is divided into two buildings.
In the main house there is the kitchen, with dining area and living room, as well as a bedroom with dressing room and bathroom en suite.
A guest toilet and a storage room are also located here.
In the second building there are 2 bedrooms with double beds, and a bathroom with a large shower. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms.
It offers generous space for up to 6 people. From all rooms you have this wonderful view.
The kitchen with cooking island is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. All windows are equipped with fly screens and shutters or blinds.
In the house there is W-Lan via Vodafone mobile Wi-Fi without data limitation.
There is air conditioning and a TV in the living room and bedrooms. The villa has an Astra dish with many German channels.
The approx. 11 x 4.20 m pool invites you to swim and you can unwind in the pool deck.
The outdoor area is equipped with comfortable furniture and sunbeds, as well as parasols. The dining area outside is shaded with a pergola.
You can park the car under the shaded carport.
The villa offers great privacy and an unobstructed wide view.
The village of Gonia can also be reached on foot. There is a mini-market, a very good taverna and a kaffeneon.
To Prines it is about 1,5 km and to Rethymnon only about 8 minutes.
The nearest beach is about 10 km away
A car is recommended. Just park it under the shaded carport which is ready for you

We have been living on Crete since 2004 and maintain our villas ourselves. Key handover, a competent contact person for all questions, etc. is on site. We are always available by phone. A detailed description of good tavernas, excursion destinations, doctors, etc. is available in the villa. Also take a look at kretafanatde, where you will find many guestbook entries. Do you want to arrive earlier or leave later? Long-term vacation? Ask us! We will call you back! We will be happy to help you book a rental car. The car will be handed over to you at the airport. You will be expected at the airport, you don't need to line up or wait anywhere. We do everything for you in advance. You can then park the car again at the airport. Since the beginning of 2024, the Greek government has introduced an eco-tax. This is staggered by category and season: The fee from March 1st - October 31st is €10.00/night per villa and from November 1st - February 29th it is €4.00/night, regardless of the number of guests. The amount can be transferred to us before arrival, or with Visa or Master card. |
