The Non is decorated with softer tones, with softer materials and with a lot of finesse. Of course, we're not talking about just any Non....
Here, too, you look out over the surrounding meadows from the living room. A sliding door provides access to the covered terrace. There is a seating area with a soft sofa and a smart TV, as well as a round dining table with 4 armchairs. The open kitchen is fully equipped and includes an induction hob, a fridge, an oven and a dishwasher. The bathroom is comfortable: with a rain shower and a spacious sink with furniture. Also from the bedroom you can look out through the high windows and relax on the spacious king size box spring bed.

With us you can comfortably retire and enjoy the view or just go out: the Wadden Sea coast (Unesco World Heritage) is nearby. The cozy Leeuwarden (former European Capital of Culture), beautiful Franeker with its planetarium (on the nomination for the World Heritage List) and the lively harbor town of Harlingen are all nearby. Or how about a day trip to the Wadden Islands? From Slapperp everything is possible!
Noazem & de Non are named after a song by the Frisian troubadour Piter Wilkens (and the original song by Cornelis Vreeswijk). The song tells of the forbidden love between a Nozem and a nun. Our cottages are located on the Kleasterdyk (Kloosterweg) and we really saw it in front of us: how the noazem and the nun had secret trysts here in the countryside, the moral nun going out with a young man in jeans and leather jacket , maybe on the back of a motorcycle... We have translated these characters into the interior of our lodges.

The adjacent cottages are both about 55 m2, offer every comfort, are optimally insulated, built sustainably and without gas, equipped with solar panels, underfloor heating and air conditioning. Both houses have their own - secured - WLAN circuit, so eg also suitable for working (at home)! We have fiber optic internet.
The houses each have a loggia (covered terrace) on the front side and a terrace on the side bordering the meadows. Between the two houses is a large terrace for common use, for example for a BBQ.

Highly recommended!
Everything is just perfect here. Loving welcome from the landlords with wine, fresh flowers, and Frisian sugar bread. Also tips for excursions and good food. A perfectly equipped holiday apartment in a dream location. We would definitely book it again.
