Description

Luxury holiday home Noazem.
The Noazem is designed in a cool color palette and materials, but with the necessary flair.
From the living room you look out over the surrounding meadows and through sliding doors you reach the covered terrace. There is a sitting area with a beautiful leather sofa and a smart TV as well as a round dining table with 4 comfortable chairs. The open kitchen is fully equipped and features an induction cooktop, a refrigerator, an oven, and a dishwasher. The bathroom is comfortable: with a rain shower and a spacious washbasin with furniture. From the bedroom, you can also look out through 2 tall windows and, of course, relax on the generous king-size box spring bed.
You are welcome to use the sauna for a fee of €20 per use. Sauna towels are also provided.

Discover the surroundings of Franeker from the Wadden Sea to the city.
With us you can comfortably retire and enjoy the view or just go out: the Wadden Sea coast (Unesco World Heritage Site) is nearby, there are many opportunities for hiking or cycling, the cozy Leeuwarden (former European Capital of Culture), the beautiful Franeker with the Planetarium (on the nomination for the World Heritage List) and the lively port city of Harlingen are all nearby. Or how about a day trip to the Wadden Islands? From Slapperp everything is possible!
Noazem & de Non are named after a song by the Frisian troubadour Piter Wilkens (and the original song by Cornelis Vreeswijk). The song tells of the forbidden love between a Nozem and a nun. Our cottages are located on the Kleasterdyk (Kloosterweg) and we really saw it in front of us: how the nun and the nun had secret trysts here in the countryside, the moral nun going out with a tough young man in jeans and leather jacket , maybe on the back of a motorcycle... We have translated these characters into the interior of our lodges.

The cottages are both about 55 m2, offer every comfort, are optimally insulated, built sustainably and without gas, equipped with solar panels, underfloor heating and air conditioning. Both houses have their own - secured - WLAN circuit, so e.g. also suitable for working (at home)! We have fiber optic internet.
The houses each have a loggia (covered terrace) on the front side and a terrace on the side bordering the meadows. And between the two houses is a large terrace for common use, for example for a BBQ (or for a secret rendezvous like the Nozem and the Nun...)
