Small holiday flat directly at the mountain station of the cable car. The flat is equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom with bathtub. The beds are tucked away in a wall unit. Large dining table with incredible view, large terrace. The flat is perfect for relaxing. TV and free internet are also available.
The flat sleeps a maximum of 4 people, but is suitable for 2 people or small families.

The flat is located directly in the mountains at 1400 m above sea level and is not accessible by car
Centrally located, yet quiet. The flat is on the 1st floor with a view of Lake Lucerne and the mountains of Nidwalden and Uri (Seelisberg, Fronalpstock, Bürgenstock etc.).
The Rigi is a car-free, beautiful hiking area with trails ranging from easy to somewhat challenging. Short trips to day hikes are possible. Also easily accessible with prams.
You will also find various restaurants, souvenir shops, barbecue areas and a large playground

A laundry room with coin-operated washing machine and dryer is located very close to the flat.
The keys will be handed over by a private person in 6403 Küssnacht am Rigi, approx. 15 minutes before Weggis, the valley station of the cable car
The Rigi is car-free, you can only reach it via the aerial cableway from Weggis with a chargeable car park (8.-CHF /day)

Wonderful days in the snow

Ruhe und herrliche Aussicht auf der Rigi
Das kleine Appartment ist eines der Appartments in der Rigi Residence, welche nur mit einer Seilbahn erreichbar ist - aber wenn man aus der Seilbahn steigt (Weggis- Rigi Kaltbad), ist man schon in der Residence und erreicht das Appartment einen Stockwerk tiefer.
Hier hat man ein sehr gemütliches, funktionales Appartment, was alles bietet, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Und - ganz besonders - Hunde sind erlaubt! Ich war mit meinen 3 Kleinpudel dort, um an einem geschäftlichen Meeting in Buonas teilzunehmen und die Hunde während der Meeting-Zeit im Appartment lassen zu können. Aber die Umgebung mit dem schönen Wanderwegen (z.b. der Blumenpfad, wo immer wieder Schildchen an den Blumen mit Namen stehen), die herrliche Aussicht - direkt vom Balkon aus - und die tolle Luft, ließen mich die Zeit eher wie ein Urlaub fühlen, denn wie eine Unterbringung, um an einem Meeting teilzunehmen. Auch die Hunde wurden von vielen Leuten, die man traf, sehr freundlich empfangen, niemand regte sich über Bellen auf, auch in der Residence nicht. Im Gegenteil, verschiedene andere Residence-Bewohner hatten auch ihre Hunde dabei.
Fr. Staub, die Vermieterin, ist super nett und entgegenkommend und hilft, wo sie nur kann, um den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Ganz in der Nähe ist ein kleiner Dorfladen, wo man fast alles bekommt und Restaurants gibt es auch einige in Fußgeh-Weite. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man einen ruhigen, angenehmen (Wander-)Urlaub im Sommer verbringen möchte! Ich überlege, ob ich nächstes Jahr dort einen "echten" Urlaub verbringen werde....
