the name "Bijou" hits the nail on the head

We were 2 adults and a dog. The house is super. The property is on the edge of a holiday settlement. A stream flows right past the property and brings cooling even in very warm weather. The Wirzweli offers good gastronomy nearby and is ideal for hiking. The area is also very suitable for children. Shopping facilities are rudimentary. You should stock up well beforehand or eat out.
We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the Bijou.

Successful holiday experience

This is the right place for relaxation and hiking. Quite a charming bijou!!!
Friendly landlords, great location, cleanliness and equipment in the house deserve HUGE praise. We will come again if there is room.

Wellness Oasis

We traveled with a dog and small children. Everything was available (many games for all ages), even a lot of snow!
The location of this chalet, furnished with a lot of love, is unique! (At the end of a dead end). Highly recommended for everyone.

Beautiful quiet holiday home

The holiday home is perfectly equipped, nothing is missing. It is lovingly furnished. The location is perfect for a quiet holiday. We found the house very clean. Mr. Bucher is an extremely friendly host. We can recommend the house at any time and will certainly not be there for the last time.

Cozy holiday home for families

We enjoyed our time in the holiday home Bijou very much! It is very cozy, clean and has everything you need. The beautiful garden with barbecue and seating area invites you to relax, while the little ones can play in the sandpit. We would love to come back!

Very cozy chalet in a natural location!

We enjoyed our holiday in the beautiful, well-kept chalet called "Bijou" which absolutely deserves its name. We were welcomed very friendly.
Everything was clean and in good condition. The natural location with the stream was relaxing.

Top vacation home in a prime location

We stayed at this holiday home for the first time and felt very comfortable there. The holiday home is located very idyllically on a mountain with a view of the mountains and is very quiet and suitable for relaxation. The house is equipped with everything you need for a holiday there. We would like to thank our very friendly landlord, Mr. Bucher, for taking care of everything, providing information about the area and leisure activities. Wunderbare Unterkunft

We were able to rent the Bijou holiday home for the second time and we liked it just as much this winter as we did last spring. The Bijou is superbly located, close to the Wirzweli mountain station, and the ski lift is also within walking distance. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, linens are provided, trash bags are available, and sleds can be used. The landlords are very nice and helpful, and the holiday home is extremely clean. We felt very comfortable and thank Toni and Chris for the wonderful week we were able to spend in the Bijou.

exceptional holidays

Mr. and Mrs. BUCHER are very welcoming.
The chalet is of very high quality, over-equipped. Excellent bedding, modern kitchen, and a garden like a golf course!
The location is exceptional: quiet in a beautiful resort and very close to must-see places in the region. With 2 small children, we were able to visit without difficulty for example: Engelberg, Brünni, Lenzburg, Wilegg, Zurich, Weggis, Lucerne, Einsiedeln. And easy access hikes from the chalet without using a car.
Holidays with no weak points. Simply budget to plan for all the extras in general.

House Bijou summer 2018

Superbly located on a plateau on the edge of the holiday village of Wirzweli. Haus Bijou is highly recommended. Beautiful wooden house with a very complete equipment and a fantastic grill in the garden. The village is very child-friendly. Definitely do: take the convertible lift to the Stanserhorn and walk down to the valley with a beautiful view of Lake Lucerne, the Rotair lift to the Titlis near Engelberg, and a walk on the Gummenalp Geo Trail above Wirzweli.

5 Sterne für Bijou

The holiday home Bijou, located at the end of a dead-end street on a footpath, is very well-maintained and equipped with a good range of inventory, technical devices, and household items. It has a beautiful terrace, various outdoor seating areas, and a wonderful garden lightly shaded by trees. Nothing is lacking! The value for money is very good. The owners are very helpful and easily reachable. I can recommend this holiday accommodation without any restrictions.

It's hard for me to write a good review because I'm afraid everyone will spend their vacations there and we will have a hard time continuing to spend our holidays in the cozy and beautiful Bijou! No, it's really a lovely well-maintained house and the owners are very nice and accommodating. They are always trying to keep the house/interiors in good condition. Top address!

14 days in a wonderful atmosphere

The house is quietly located at the end of a dead end. The few hikers using the hiking trail behind the house can be counted on one hand. The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired, including the equipment with dishes, cutlery, and glasses.

External noises are almost completely blocked out when the windows are closed. The large garden and the equally large terrace are perfect for relaxed lounging.

The only disadvantage is the way to Wirzweli. Both from Dallenwill and in the other direction over Ächerli. The latter is a bit easier to drive and offers a better view.

The area is especially popular with hikers on weekends, who usually stay around the cable car areas (Gummenalp and Wirzweli).

For those who enjoy mountain hiking, this house or place is ideal.

We felt very comfortable.

The location of the holiday home "Bijou" is very good (close to the gondola lift / amusement park) and it is very quiet. In summer, access by car is also possible.

Just unbelievably beautiful :-)

We were able to spend a wonderfully beautiful summer holiday week in the Bijou in the great heat. The house and surroundings have everything you need, and it is the ideal starting point for excursions. We would love to come back to do hiking holidays next time. The landlord is extremely nice and accommodating (we were almost an hour late arriving - sorry again). Warm regards and thank you for allowing us to spend our holidays in your beautiful house!
