The inviting, very spacious and 148 sqm holiday flat (self-catering) is located in our historic house in Meggen in the Fischerdörfli, directly on Lake Lucerne. Enjoy the indescribably beautiful view over the lake and the alpine panorama from the bright, front living room and bedroom. In the rear, spacious living room, there is an integrated, exclusively equipped kitchen with bar. Furthermore, a romantic bedroom as well as two bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a shower, the other with a large corner bathtub. You have direct access via a staircase to your sunny garden and to your sheltered terrace with sun blinds, deck chairs and garden furniture. The lido is in the immediate vicinity, you only need two minutes to reach the boat station and the sunbathing lawn with free bathing facilities, and it takes 5 minutes to reach the Meggen-Zentrum railway station. In the nearby village centre there are very good restaurants and many shopping shops. There are many opportunities: Wonderful walks in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Meggenhorn Castle with bathing bays, large adventure playground, statue of Christ, boat landing stage and huge park. Fifteen metres from your holiday flat is the entrance to the spacious and well-kept park of the famous Villa St. Charles Hall with a lookout point, resting benches, bronze statues by the artist Rolf Brem, the studio of the internationally renowned jewellery artist Lucie Heskett-Brem and an adjacent great playground. Smaller and larger hikes in the Meggen forest and surrounding area as well as a high-altitude hiking trail to Küssnacht am Rigi with fantastic views over Lake Lucerne and the Alpine chain including the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Meggen is very centrally located and can be reached quickly from Lucerne (10 min), Küssnacht am Rigi (8 min), Zug (25 min), Zurich (40 min), Bern (60 min), Basel (60 min), Interlaken (70 min), Engelberg (35 min), Bellinzona (90 min).

Meggen is a quiet holiday resort situated directly on Lake Lucerne, in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous, vibrant tourist metropolis of Lucerne with its countless sights. Among others, the Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument, the Glacier Garden, the Swiss Museum of Transport (the most visited museum in Switzerland) with a film theatre, planetarium, Swiss Chocolate Adventure and Media World, the Hans Erni Museum, the historic old town, the local mountain Pilatus, the Lucerne House of Art and Congress (KKL) with its numerous events such as the Music Festival Weeks or the Blue Balls Festival. The unique topographical location offers countless and varied excursion possibilities by train (railway, aerial cableway, rack railway), bus, boat and by car. Shopping enthusiasts also get their money's worth. If you can't find what you're looking for in Lucerne, you can always go to Zurich, Zug, Basel or Berne.
In winter, thanks to its central location, it is only a short drive to well-known skiing destinations such as Engelberg, Melchsee-Frutt, Andermatt, Klewenalp, Emmetten, Rigi, Hoch-Ybrig, Ibergeregg, Mythen/Stoos and Sörenberg.
The nearest excursion destination is Küssnacht am Rigi with the 'Hohlen Gasse' (hollow alley) famous from William Tell, the historic village centre, the Gesslerburg ruins, the rope and climbing park and the Seebodenalp, which can be reached by car, bicycle, aerial cableway or on foot and offers a magnificent panorama. The queen of the mountains, the Rigi, accessible by cable car from Weggis or by rack railway from Vitznau and Arth-Goldau, Immensee and Arth on Lake Zug, Michaelskreuz at an altitude of 800 m, the Zugerberg, the Rossberg, the Wildspitz at over 1400 m, Lake Lauerz, as well as Goldau with its popular huge zoo, the Goldseeli and the Rockfall Museum are further worthwhile highlights without a long journey.

The price per week in the low season for occupancy by 2 persons is CHF 950.00. For each additional person + CHF 90.00 per week. Occupancy with max. four persons. The price per week in mid-season with 2 persons is CHF 1050.00 For each additional person + 90.00CHF per week. Occupancy with max. 4 persons.
