Description
The access to the holiday home is via a concrete private road that ends in front of the house. There is 1 outdoor parking space available there. The 3.5-room holiday flat offers plenty of space for a relaxing holiday on a living area of 83 sqm. The excellently equipped open kitchen has an oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave (on request). The spacious dining area with a panoramic view of the lake and mountains can seat up to 8 people.
It becomes cosy when the fire burns in the fireplace in the large living room (33m2) in the evening and all guests have found their favourite place. Firewood can be fetched behind the house for a small fee. The internet is at your free disposal, as well as cable TV and a DVD player. In the big bedroom there is a double bed (2x90x200), in the small one there is a bed that can be extended to two single beds (2x90x200). There is wardrobe space in both rooms. As an additional sleeping option, the sofa in the living room can easily be converted into a comfortable French bed (160x200).
The living room opens directly onto the spacious seating area with sun blind. Other seating areas offer different views of the lake and the mountains. A barbecue and deckchairs are available. The large meadow opposite the front door invites you to play and romp around.
There is a floor-level shower and WC in the bathroom and a separate WC in the room next door. The washing machine and tumble dryer in the cellar can be used.

Lake Aegeri is located in the middle of central Switzerland - a place of peace and relaxation. The cosy and comfortably furnished holiday flat is located in Oberägeri, a municipality that encompasses the southern part of the lake. People seeking relaxation, couples, but also families enjoy an unforgettable stay in Switzerland. The house is located in Morgarten, a hamlet outside Oberägeri at Hauptseestr. 115, 6315 Oberägeri Morgarten. It can be reached by a private road that branches off the main road at the farmhouse at Hauptseestr. 117 and leads up the mountain for about 450 m. The house is detached and two-family house. The detached two-family house is in an elevated position with a great view over the lake, directly on a wooded stream on the edge of meadows and pastures. The holiday home is on the ground floor, a senior citizen lives in the attic with his small dog and 2 cats.
In the middle of nature in a mild climate, you will experience an unforgettable holiday in the middle of Switzerland.Ägerisee is a true paradise for families with children, active holidaymakers, hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Excellent hiking trails allow long walks through nature. The public bathing place is at the church within walking distance (7 minutes). Below the holiday flat there is a farm where fresh milk or eggs can be picked up. It is also not far to the centre of Oberägeri or Unterägeri. There you will find a wide variety of restaurants, shopping facilities and personal services. The new Ägeribad in Oberägeri offers plenty of space for sports and fun, has a warm outdoor pool and a beautiful outdoor area directly on the lake. This is freely accessible in summer. On the white shelf in the living room you will find a selection of brochures with excursion possibilities nearby (Rigi, Hochstuckli children's paradise, Goldau zoo, boat trip on Lake Lucerne, etc.).

Un séjour agréable

The view from the window is stunning!!!!
The vacation rental is great for younger people! For us older and not quite healthy, the access is a bit difficult... once you're up there... it's great. Everything you need is there (and more), the apartment is spacious and bright.

We will definitely come back!
I have been traveling without a car with my two children (2.5, 4.5 years old). The apartment is spacious, very well equipped and nicely decorated. The view is breathtaking.
The children were able to keep themselves busy with the Duplos, books and the sandbox in the garden. In the morning, the cows from the farmer next door came to eat grass on the hill, which was an absolute highlight for our children.
The bus stop is a 3-5 minute walk away and very well connected to all activities (boating, gondola, wellness at Aegeribad).
The region in general is also very family-friendly but also very suitable for hikers who want to enjoy the tranquility.
The owner is also very helpful and answers all questions kindly.

Wonderful view
We often spend our holidays in this beautiful house. The children can play carefree around the house and there are many excursion destinations in the area. The house has everything you need and we often sit around the cosy fireplace.
In summer you can swim in the clean lake or go hiking in the surrounding mountains. And always this view of the lake, directly from the dining table.

Elegant view of Lake Aegeri
After numerous visits to this flat in Morgarten above Lake Aegeri,
the stay in 2022 was again very nice. The flat is equipped with EVERYTHING that belongs to a relaxing and restful holiday!!!
Our "highlight" is always - in the morning and in the evening the direct view of the lake!!!

I am a retired teacher and spent the holiday weeks and weekends of my childhood here in Morgarten, together with my 4 siblings. We had very close contact with the farming family and their 10 children. So I am deeply connected to the holiday house I inherited from my parents and I am still in contact with my childhood friends and their families. I live in Zurich Unterstrass, a good residential area, very close to where I grew up. I live with my partner. My twin sons have long since grown up and live in their own households. I have been a grandmother for a few years and I am happy that my granddaughter, grandson and nephew also enjoy spending time here. I am happy that I am always allowed to host guests and that they usually share my enthusiasm for this place.
