The holiday home Herzstück is located in a semi-detached house. The neighbouring holiday home Lieblingsstück can also be rented. The entire semi-detached house is available for use by our guests.

The terrace with south-facing slope offers a great view into the valley and invites you to relax and unwind. Our guests also have access to cosy outdoor seating and a modern barbecue trolley. The terrace is bordered by green and flowering plants, bushes and trees (no fencing).

In addition, there are parking spaces directly at the house, some of which are covered.

When furnishing our houses, we attach great importance to a harmonious, coordinated design and give each house, furnished according to an individual theme, its own personal touch. We want you to feel completely at home in our houses, which is why a successful interior with many details and comfortable furnishings is very important to us.

The centrepiece has 2 bedrooms, each equipped with a comfortable 180x200 cm bed, bedside tables and a wardrobe. For the little ones, there is also a travel cot with mattress available.

In the house you will find an open living and dining area equipped with a corner couch, armchair, satellite TV and dining table (high chair for children is also available). A fully equipped kitchen is also integrated here, which has been completely newly installed (cooker with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave as well as a wide selection of crockery, cutlery, cooking and kitchen utensils, which enable you to comfortably prepare your own meals during your stay). From the living and dining area, you can access the spacious south-facing terrace, which is equipped with a large barbecue trolley and comfortable outdoor seating furniture, inviting you to relax and unwind.

The centrepiece offers a maritime flair and has a cosy fireplace, which quickly warms the whole house. There is also a sofa bed in the living room, so that up to 6 people can sleep in 3 separate rooms. All living rooms are equipped with external roller shutters.

The centrepiece is also suitable for wheelchair users due to its general accessibility. (to overcome the small entrance threshold, we are happy to provide our guests with a ramp on request). The bathroom, which was completely modernised in March 2021, also provides sufficient comfort and freedom of movement thanks to its generously designed shower.

We want you to feel at home in our "heart". So that you can really enjoy your stay, the following services are already included in our cleaning / service package:

- All consumption costs, such as electricity and water
- First supply of wood for cosy hours in front of the fireplace
- First supply of consumables such as toilet paper, dishwasher taps as well as hand washing and dishwashing detergent
- Final cleaning

On request we also provide our guests with bed linen, towels and tea towels (15€ linen package per person/stay).

Location and surroundings of object

On a high plateau (approx. 500 metres altitude) - surrounded by mountain meadows, water and forests - Tanne is the ideal starting point for hikes and excursions to all regions of the Harz, both in summer and winter. Numerous hiking trails start from here to reach various stamping points of the Harzer Wandernadel.

All sights and excursion destinations are within easy reach - including the Brocken, numerous reservoirs and dams as well as the wild and romantic Bode Valley with the Roßtrappe and Hexentanzplatz. The historic Harz towns of Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Braunlage and Stollberg with their dreamy old town centres or the nearby western town "Pullman City" with lots of action, shows, saloons and the best gastronomy are always worth a trip.
