Vacation at Wadsee

We spent 10 days in the lakeside house.
It was wonderful. The holiday home is top-notch equipped, super clean, and very cozy. The 2 terraces invite you to linger, and with better weather, we would definitely have tried out the sun loungers. Not suitable for four-legged friends who like to escape, but our dog had no problems with that and really enjoyed the small garden. The surroundings are very quiet and relaxing. Hiking trails right on site and many attractions easily accessible by car. Swimming lake right outside the door. 2 restaurants within walking distance, with the Eifeler Seehütte being really great. Rarely eaten so well. The landlords were very nice and always reachable. The only downside was the bed. Not so comfortable for me, but my husband slept well. Tastes are just different. I would only conditionally recommend the house for a vacation with children because the stairs to the upper beds are very steep. For younger children difficult, but probably no problem for older children.
Conclusion... absolutely recommendable????

We had a great week at the lake house with our two dogs. We lacked nothing! We were personally welcomed upon arrival, which we really liked. Great holiday home in a very beautiful location

The house is beautifully located by the forest lake in Rieden and ideal for many hikes in the region. The house is very well equipped and leaves little to be desired. Lake House Rieden

We were very satisfied during the 10 days we were there. The house is beautifully located near the lake, was very clean, and the landlord was very friendly. The only thing we would criticize is that the sofa was too soft and not good for watching television. Otherwise, we would love to come again!!!!!

Very nice log cabin for relaxing

We had 4 very nice days in the cozy little house. Every day, we went for a hike with our dog Pepe. The hiking trail starts right behind the house and is very beautiful, just like the lake located below the house, which is stunning. You can also eat well at the Italian restaurant or the lakeside hut a few meters away.
We have already recommended the little house to acquaintances.

Beautiful little log cabin by the forest lake

Hello, I arrived with my dog for 6 nights. We had a wonderful break in the cozy log cabin, the highlight was the sauna in the bathroom! And it was even decorated for Christmas. Many hiking trails in the surrounding Eifel area. Very nice and helpful owners. Thank you again for everything!

Relax just do it, for couples, family, dogs tiptop. For Rhein-Main residents, it's quick to get there, cozy wooden house with sauna, view of the forest lake Rieden. 2 restaurants in a few minutes. Hiking at the doorstep and swimming in the lake in summer.

Toll for relaxing

My husband and I spent a wonderful time at the lakeside house with our dog. The holiday home is very lovingly and beautifully furnished. We all felt comfortable, and there were even treats for our dog as a welcome! We also thought the Christmas decoration was simply fantastic. The lakeside house was also very clean. The location is ideal for simply relaxing: It is really very quiet, located right by the lake, with hiking trails right at the door and a delicious Italian restaurant in the immediate vicinity. We were able to take wonderful walks with our dog and then relax in the sauna in the evening, which was especially a highlight for us in the cold weather. The Krupica family was also very friendly and always available for questions. So, 100% recommendable!

Perfect short vacation

We were looking for a quiet place in nature to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a few days. The house was already heated when we arrived, and we were very kindly welcomed. The days were incredibly beautiful despite the fog. The surroundings are great, and the house has everything we needed. The underfloor heating and the sauna are the absolute highlights. As there was no new booking for our departure day, we were allowed to stay a little longer after consultation, which was the perfect conclusion. Super beautiful short vacation at the lakeside house.

We look back at wonderful 6 days, including great autumn weather, nice activities, and hikes with our small dogs. The challenge in our accommodation search always starts with the dogs... this poses a problem in many holiday homes and apartments. But here in the lake house, with the Krupica family, not at all. A very lovely and nice family who gave us many tips regarding food, shopping, and activities, and because it was possible with the bookings, the arrival and departure times were very accommodating… totally stress-free! And for our little ones, there were dog chews on the table welcoming us, as well as dog bowls. Otherwise, we felt completely comfortable. A beautiful cozy and lovingly furnished house to relax and unwind in a nice quiet area with a great view of the lake... the highlight, the sauna... perfect for a relaxed end to the day! There was also a small "basic supply" of groceries such as oil, sugar, instant coffee, filter bags, and filter coffee, etc., which I have not experienced before, simply great. We can highly recommend the lakeside house, the beautiful area, and the friendly hosts, no matter what kind of vacation it is, and we will definitely come back.

Small but fine

We often go on vacation in small rental accommodations, but for the first time, we were completely satisfied.
The check-in was easy, the contact with the landlord was good; she is very friendly and helpful.
The house is small, but really beautiful and lovingly furnished; everything needed is provided.
We felt comfortable right away, the whole house had a pleasant smell, and the towels and bed linen were fresh and smelled nice, which we often found to be quite different. The house was extremely clean, and the sauna was easy to use. The small garden invited relaxation, and at the nearby lake, you can take great walks. Just a few minutes by car, you can get everything for daily life, and there were 2 restaurants on the street.

Beautiful short break on the North Sea coast

A great house by the forest lake, equipped with everything. Great location for exploring the dream paths of the Eifel. Lake for swimming, gastronomy... and everything your heart desires. However, due to the 30°C outside temperature, we decided not to use the great sauna. We will definitely come back.

Cosy holiday cottage in a beautiful location by the lake.

Although it is a rather small house, we found it very spacious. It is cozy, very well equipped, and tastefully furnished. Upon our arrival, everything was clean, and there was a small welcome gift for us and our dogs. The landlady briefed us on the essentials and gave us some tips on leisure activities and shopping options. The house has a small garden, which unfortunately is only partially fenced. From one of the two terraces, you have a beautiful view of the lake. The beds are very comfortable, so we could sleep well. When it got cooler in the evening, the heating quickly warmed up the living area and the bathroom. From the house, you can directly go for hikes around the lake or into the hilly landscape. There are two good restaurants by the lake and in the village a very good artisan bakery and a butcher shop.

Pure relaxation

Super nice cozy vacation apartment, floor heating except in the bedroom. The upper floor has a pretty steep staircase but could be closed off with a gate for our dog. Sauna can be heated to 80 degrees in half an hour and also allows for infusions. Generally, everything was very clean and the landlords were always available for questions. We booked at very short notice and they were extremely flexible. Conclusion: gladly again anytime.

We had an absolute dream vacation in September and thanks to the recommendation of the landlady, we found great hiking trails.
It would have been desirable for us to have a small barrier towards the road.

It does not get any better than this

We treated ourselves to 5 days away in this beautiful, cosy and clean house. It could not have been better. For us, it was ideal for small and larger hikes directly from the house around the lake into nature. Everything was just right, including the culinary options, which you can reach on foot in a few minutes and thus leave the car behind. The extremely nice landlords rounded off the stay. No wonder the comfortably furnished house is so popular. If we have another chance, we will be very happy to come back.

We thank you very much for the relaxing, Christmas-decorated stay, the sweet greeting in the boot and the champagne for the New Year's toast

The communication with the landlady went smoothly from the first contact to the departure. Questions and special requests (high chair, baby cot) were dealt with immediately. The furnishings are well thought out down to the smallest detail. We wanted for nothing, especially in the kitchen

The ideas folder for excursions or to satisfy hunger was also very helpful

A highlight, of course, is the in-house sauna - or the walk around the lake - pure relaxation

The two restaurants on the lake are within walking distance. The food tasted very good.

The view of the lake is simply fantastic
If the house were to be fenced in the future, it would be of interest to us (with dog and toddler) in the summer as well

Holiday for the soul

This beautiful cottage leaves nothing to be desired. We were able to spend 5 beautiful days there. Super nice hosts. From email to personal contact. You feel welcome. The cottage is furnished and decorated with love. The view from the terrace over the lake is fantastic. We were there in autumn, when it was very quiet. The lake and the surrounding area invite you to go hiking. Nature lovers will get their money's worth here. A very nice place to slow down. We will definitely come back....

Very nice short holiday

It was a really nice short holiday. The Seehaus is very nice, cosy and tip-top clean. There were only 2 small things, but that is perhaps complaining on a high level
It is a pity that the garden is not fenced in and my dog had to be on a leash all the time; unfortunately we could not sleep well in the bed. But as I said, otherwise the holiday at the Seehaus was really super and recommendable.

The Eifel - always worth a trip - especially here!!

I am a big fan of the Eifel, and I have spent many vacations here with my dog. By chance, I came across the lakeside house of the Krupica family - situated directly by the Riedener Waldsee. The house immediately appealed to me - a really beautiful log cabin, just a 2-minute walk from the lake. There is everything you need there; all dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils are provided, so you really don't need to bring anything. Adjacent to the kitchen and living room area is a bedroom with a double bed, which also has a large wardrobe. If you are mobile and with 3-4 people in the house, you climb a steep staircase up to the attic - there are two single beds there. The houses are all quite close to each other and stacked on top of one another, but that was not a problem, as there are curtains at the windows everywhere, so if it bothers you, you don't feel like you're sitting on a "display tray." In the bedroom, the curtains also darken very well. They even thought of fly screens. A highlight of the house is certainly the sauna—because on one day of my stay, there was a small winter onset, it snowed the whole day. The sauna has enough space for up to 4 people, and it is simply wonderfully relaxing! 2 infusions are also available. It should be mentioned that the use of the sauna is included in the price—that is by no means the norm! I am actually not a repeat offender, but this region by the lake, the house, and the many beautiful hiking trails, restaurants, and cafés make me come back. The landlords are exceptionally nice! So—see you again in 2023!
