Our lovingly furnished holiday home offers plenty of space for up to 4 people and is located about 150 m from the shore of Riedener Waldsee.
We offer you 75 m² of ground-level living space on a 380 m² plot. Enjoy the wonderful view and the beautiful location with a view of the lake already at breakfast.
The house is equipped with a spacious living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, two separate bedrooms with a total of 4 beds. In the bathroom there is a bathtub, washbasin, towel radiator and WC. A separate guest WC is also available
Look forward to the cosy warmth of an infrared sauna and the crackling of the fireplace.
The storage room with washing machine complete our offer for you.

The surroundings of Riedener Waldsee have a lot to offer
Among others, the Laacher See with its famous Benedictine Abbey, the old town of Mayen with Genovefa Castle, the volcanic town of Mendig, the Nürburgring and 26 premium hiking trails (dream trails), two of which are in the immediate vicinity. You have a great view all the way to Koblenz or Bonn from the Gänsehalsturm, about 3 km away.
Directly at the lake you will find a restaurant, a pizzeria, possibilities for swimming, boat and quad rentals, a children's playground as well as riding possibilities.
In the village there are various shops, several restaurants, bakery with grocery shop, butcher's shop, savings bank and a doctor.
The numerous forest paths and dream trails invite you to go hiking and mountain biking.

Relaxation guaranteed
The holiday home is beautifully located by the forest lake Rieden. Despite many holiday homes around, it was surprisingly quiet, and one could relax in the beach chair behind the house, read a book, or drink coffee, or ...
Inside the house, everything was stylish and clean.
The area offers many excursion destinations, and one can hike or cycle well.

A relaxed week with great weather
A very beautiful holiday home. We spent a week here and felt very comfortable. A good starting point for activities. We made many excursions to the Rhine and Moselle and visited castles and palaces.
The two restaurants by the lake are right at the door and can also be recommended.
Somewhat getting used to for us was showering in the bathtub, but that is all manageable.

Great vacation
Great accommodation with plenty of space. Everything super clean. Very nice homeowners. We lacked nothing.
There are two terraces, so even in hot weather, a shady spot could be found.
Beautiful hiking trails possible right from the house. Restaurant on-site.

Holiday home Waldsee
The holiday home is really recommendable. The furnishings and cleanliness are very good, and the landlords are nice as well.
Hiking trails start directly from the house, which was very pleasant for walks with our dog.
Overall, a very nice holiday week.

Im Haus war alles schick und sauber.
Die Gegend bietet viele Ausflugsziele und man kann gut wandern oder Rad fahren.
Die beiden Restaurants am See hat man direkt vor der Tür und kann man auch empfehlen.
Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war für uns das Duschen in der Badewanne, aber
das ist alles machbar.
Es gibt zwei Terrassen, so konnte auch bei heißem Wetter ein schattiges Plätzchen gefunden werden.
Schöne Wanderwege schon direkt ab dem Haus möglich. Restaurant direkt vor Ort.
Wanderwege gehen direkt vom Haus aus, was für die Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund sehr angenehm war.
Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
Buchung, Abwicklung, Kommunikation und Übergabe der Schlüssel: alles perfekt.
Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts . Tipp topp sauber bis in die letzten Ecken.
Man fühlt sich wohl, sobald man das Haus betritt.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Wir können das Ferienhaus auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen und ist in allen Punkten 5⭐️ wert.
Der Empfang vom Vermieter war herzlich. Es gab gleich das Angebot jederzeit anrufen zu können, wenn Fragen oder auch Probleme auftreten sollten.
Die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung im Ferienhaus ist sehr gut.
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Es ist guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Auch unser Hund eine OEB, fühlte sich wohl.
Die Pizzeria vor der Tür, keine 100m entfernt und das Restaurant auf der gegenüberliegenden Seeseite, ca. 300m Fußweg, sind sehr zu empfehlen.
Die gepflegte Anlage des Waldsees und der See selber laden bei sonnigem Wetter immer zum Baden ein.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal in Familie Schaups Ferienhaus „Waldsee“ unseren Urlaub verbringen.
Toll zum Wandern.

Die Lage direkt am See und am Waldrand ist wunderschön und ruhig.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben bei der Ausstattung des Hauses an wirklich alles gedacht.
Liebevoll dekoriert aber nicht überladen,sehr sauber,viele extras wie z.b.zusätzliche Kissen und Decken,Waschmaschine...
Die Kücheneinrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen,und überhaupt sind die Räume sehr geräumig und hell.
Sehr angenehm auch das zusätzliche WC .Und die zwei Terrassen und die vielen Gartenmöbel sind im Sommer sicher wunderbar .
Alles in allem können wir das Haus mit gutem Gewissen zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen und haben sofort unseren nächsten Urlaub dort gebucht.
Es ist einfach ein Traum seinen Urlaub dort zu verbringen.
Hervorzuheben ist die sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung ,es fehlt von der Ausstattug wirklich an nichts und vorallem sehr,sehr sauber

Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus wo es an nichts, aber auch an rein gar nichts gefehlt hat!
Es war sogar sehr liebevoll Weihnachtlich dekoriert.
Man fühlte sich direkt heimelig.
Wir haben bereits für den Sommer wieder reserviert.
(Ein DVD Player am großen Fernseher wäre noch schön aber kein direkter Kritikpunkt)
Als Ausgangspunkt für kurze und lange Wanderungen ist die Ferienwohnung sehr zu empfehlen.
Von den Gastgebern wurden wir freundlich und zuvorkommend begrüßt. Die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders genossen haben wir die 2 Terrassen, so dass wir uns, je nach Sonnenstand, vor oder hinter dem Haus aufhalten konnten. Im großen Wohnraum kann auch ein Regentag, selbst mit Kleinkind, entspannt verbracht werden. Die sehr gut ausgeschilderten Traumpfädchen in der näheren Umgebung, sind sehr erlebnisreiche Kurzwanderwege. Wir können das Ferienhaus Waldsee nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Ich kann Haus Waldsee nur empfehlen.
Mit dem Kamin und der Sauna ist es auch zu der eher kälteren Jahreszeit ein angenehmer Aufenthalt gewesen.
