Description
You enter the house through a small hallway with wardrobe and come into the extraordinarily spacious modern furnished living room, which partly covers both floors. Here you will find the cosy seating area with 2 sofas, an armchair and satellite TV, the dining area with a large dining table and 6 comfortable rattan armchairs as well as the wood-burning stove for romantic hours. The open kitchen, equipped to a high standard, adjoins in the corner. Complete equipment with electric cooker, microwave, oven, extractor fan, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, sufficient crockery etc. is a matter of course. You will also find a basic supply of toiletries, cleaning products, dishwasher tabs as well as nutrients and spices and a filled firewood basket when you arrive at the Buttje Hus.
Through patio doors in the glazed south gable of the living area, you enter the partly covered wooden decking terrace, equipped with a high-quality seating group. There are seat cushions and pads for the sun loungers. A second small terrace offers itself as a sunny breakfast spot for early risers or as a shady spot in very high temperatures.
In addition, on the ground floor you will find a bedroom with double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers, the guest WC and the bathroom with shower, sauna, whirlpool, washstand and washing machine.
The upper floor has a gallery with seating area and two further bedrooms (1x double bed, 1x pull-out double bed + wardrobe and chest of drawers or desk) as well as the second bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC.
The beds are equipped with high-quality mattresses and four-season duvets, which you can put together according to your individual needs. The windows of the bedrooms can be completely darkened with plisees and are of course equipped with mosquito screens.
For very small guests there is a high chair and a cot and toys for the house, garden and beach.
For the "grown-ups" there are also games to pass the time, some books and a variety of information material with maps, tips for excursions, timetables, etc.
The house is heated by gas central heating, on the ground floor the underfloor heating provides cosy warmth, on the upper floor the rooms have normal radiators. Since the hot water supply is ensured by a gas flow heater, you will always have sufficient hot water.
The spacious, light-flooded architecture and the high-quality furnishings of our house enable you to enjoy relaxing holidays with all the comforts of home at any time of year.
The beautifully landscaped garden plot is approx. 660 sqm in size, has an attractive planting of roses, evergreens, shrubs and trees and offers a wonderful sight in all seasons and with its lawns opportunities to play or laze on the sun loungers
The carport with storage room behind it for bicycles, surfing or fishing equipment as well as two further parking spaces are located directly next to the house.

Location and surroundings of object
Our Buttje Hus is located directly above the cliffs, only a few steps away from the Baltic Sea beach in a quiet residential street with no through traffic on a lovingly landscaped, well-kept garden plot.
You can reach the beach in a few minutes by taking the path at the end of the street past a great new children's playground directly to the beach access "Liebesschlucht".
The centre of the Baltic seaside resort of Rerik and the harbour at Haffplatz are only a few minutes' walk away. The supply situation is excellent. All shops for daily needs, 2 supermarkets, 2 banks, post office, doctors and pharmacy are within walking distance. Fashion shops, various shops as well as cafes and restaurants round off the attractive offer.
The small town of Rerik, with only 2300 inhabitants, is still considered an insider tip and has managed to retain the special flair of the former fishing village of Alt Gaarz to this day.
The entire town has been lavishly and very successfully renovated and offers many interesting things to see and discover.
A variety of events from theatre performances, concerts, guided tours and exhibitions to sporting activities and festivals offer variety and recreation. You will find detailed information in the current calendar of events of the town of Rerik, which is available for you in our house.

Summer vacation
With 4 adults and two children, we spent a week in this holiday home. There was nothing missing. The location and the equipment were top-notch. The communication with Mrs. Krems was also great. This holiday home is definitely worth recommending. We will definitely come back again.

Dream house on the Baltic Sea
Such a holiday home is what we have been looking for a long time. Very nice holiday home with fantastic amenities in a really good location. We spent our vacation in this holiday home in October and were able to really enjoy this week. Beach walks directly from the holiday home, eating fish without having to drive by car first and the beach reachable on foot for fishing evenings, just wonderful. The weather had a lot to offer for us, from heavy storms to (almost) calm winds, everything was included...
Conclusion: we will definitely come back!

Super house / Beautiful vacation
The house is highly recommended without restrictions. We had a great holiday and immediately felt very comfortable in the house. The contact with the landlady is very uncomplicated and nice. The equipment of the house is great; everything you need is abundantly available. On the only cooler day, the sauna was immediately in use. Five stars for the house from here!

Great holiday home for a peaceful break
The house is simply wonderful. In addition to the loving furnishings, it has everything you need and offers plenty of space. We were only two people, but there would be enough space and dishes for more people as well. We especially liked the open gallery above the living area and the terrace in the garden. Due to its high hedges and its location in a cul-de-sac, the house is absolutely quiet and ideal for unwinding from everyday life. The way to the beach is really not far. Within walking distance, there is also a bakery and a supermarket. The landlady, Mrs. Krems, is very friendly, and the contact was always uncomplicated. We would love to come back.

Very beautiful location, very good facilities - a special house.
In Rerik, life does not thrive in the fall (which is not unexpected), but there are many opportunities for excursions on foot, by bike, or by car in the area. The house provides a good starting point for this and offers wellness with a sauna and a hot tub, as well as plenty of space to relax. The location in relation to the town and the beach is perfect - not right in the center, but very close. A welcome and on-site support would be desirable, but not everyone values it, so we deduct one star for service. It should be emphasized that contact with the landlord is possible at any time.
A wooden house is different from solid construction, but it is an experience because the house "breathes" and creaks when there are movements upstairs. Despite fly screens, a few spiders and beetles cannot be kept out. Even the best cleaning doesn't help, and it should definitely not be seen as a nuisance.
In the kitchen, everything is available that you need and more: microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and even a Senseo. There is also sufficient crockery available.
During the day, the house is bright, and in the evening, the lighting is quite subtle. A lovely house for relaxation.
