This beautiful holiday cottage in Besse dates from the seventeenth century where you soak up the history. Many of the elements are authentic, such as the beautiful beamed ceilings, wooden floor and monumental fireplaces. The living room consists of two spacious areas: a sitting room with a comfortable leather corner sofa and fireplace with wood burner, and a dining room with an open fireplace. There is a private pool in the garden. The children can happily play on the lawn.
You can even walk to Besse (400 m). Here there's a beautiful old church with its original stone roof. The medieval bastide town of Villefranche-du-Périgord (7 km) is surely worth a visit. In addition, there are several swimming lakes in the immediate vicinity, including Prats-du-Périgord (5 km) and Cazals (12 km). Admire the ancient villages of Domme (22 km), with its extensive underground passages with stalactites.
The rooms are comfortable and perfect for a family vacation.

Great quiet and beautiful location. Note: always report to Mr. Peuche, who will take you to the house. You can't navigate directly to the house.
You can eat well in the local restaurant 'Le Chien Verte', run by Englishmen.
You can walk there via a bumpy path downhill. Not even a 10 minute walk.
In short, enjoying yourself.

Beautiful house, quietly located in a dead end street where deer cross over (a bit of Tiny on the farm effect). Barn 1 provides access to the home with cosily furnished rooms. The gardens ... Waw !!

What a great place! The house was very clean, fully equipped, especially the well-equipped kitchen and new bathroom with shower giving the 17th-century house still a bit luxe.Het outside happen is nothing short of amazing: a beautiful pool with plenty of sun beds, a large fixed barbecue and several terraces with seating and a picnic table. "In the evenings table tennis in the large barn makes the holiday feeling complete. Highly recommended, this house!

Even after checking the site again via chat and clearly explaining the problem, we got the same wrong data again. Finally solved it yourself. In short; house and home owner a 10, Belvilla a 0.

Very authentic house. Provided with all basic amenities. Beautiful swimming pool with many sun loungers and various terraces, so that you can always find a place in the sun or in the shade as desired. Huge garden. Many rooms. Even in warm weather it is cool indoors. Very neat and clean on arrival. Very quiet location and all privacy.
The village of Besse has nothing to offer (no bakery, no supermarket, ...) so for shopping you are dependent on a 10-minute drive for a small supperette (limited supply) or 25 minutes for an extensive supermarket.
Although 200m from the church as the crow flies, it is quite a detour to reach the house ... but once you are there ... well worth it!

Beautiful and spacious house, larger than expected. Very nice bathroom with shower and upstairs still bathroom with shower. Beautiful pool, terrace with plenty of chairs and loungers. Kitchen with many amenities. Very nice view from the terras.Onze holiday could not play because it had the lovely warm weather along, the children had "the Time of Their Life"

Beautiful house with a very large garden directly connected to the forest. The house has everything one needs. Swimming pool big enough and a cozy terrace. Everything to have a peaceful holiday. We enjoy it and so does our dog the boxer.

Belvilla has helped us fantastically to book this at the last minute by telephone. We arrived after a long drive and as mentioned before we arrived on a secluded forest road near a beautiful house !! We were very kindly received and everything in house was present. It is a very nice house with a nice pool and several terraces. Children have a great time in the gigantic garden. In the area you are in the Middle Ages. Places like Domme are beautiful. Castle Castelnaud is a must. In Daglan there is a nice restaurant and a supermarket and bakery. We will certainly come here once again.

Despite your advice, we were welcome early in the afternoon. After we had admired the accommodation we were able to stock up on the necessary groceries (about 30 minutes' drive). Location of the house and the annex is in a word FANTASTIC. !!
