Charming house in a quiet and beautiful location. With lots of privacy and plenty of shade around the pool.

We were warmly received by the owner of the house and a lady. Thanks again for this and for all help! Our navigation has found the address or the GPS coordinates well. The cottage is on a slope in the forest above the village of Besse. You walk approx. 200 m on a forest path to the village. There is another holiday home above the cottage on the slope. We had very nice neighbors. Occasionally heard some voices, but otherwise everyone enjoyed his privacy. You don't see each other! The pool is protected next to the house and is large enough to swim exuberantly. It was delicious!!! Especially with the heat we had. The house has everything you need and the thick walls keep it reasonably cool. Only in the bedroom it was a bit warm in the evening. In the village there are no shops, but there is a wonderful old church. We did our shopping in Villefranche. There are two small supermarchés and two bakeries. Furthermore, the house is a good starting point for all attractions in the area. You drive half an hour to fifteen minutes to the main attractions. We enjoyed the silence, the pool, the privacy and the starry sky !!! It is a wonderful place to spend a holiday.

We are currently staying in this beautiful house and there is nothing to complain about. Everything is present, from kitchen roll to sufficient garbage bags, foil, cutlery and all kinds of (kitchen) equipment, dishwasher, oven, microwave, TV, fridge with freezer, very nice swimming pool, washing machine, clotheslines, clothespins, clothesline, tablecloths, oven dishes, oven gloves .... You can not think of it so crazy whether it is present. In other words, a carefree holiday. That is very valuable in this time full of worries, I think. The owner is also extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely think this is an investment in our well-being. Kudos to this house and the people who maintain it while we are still in bed.

Actually not a villa but a refurbished holiday home. Especially the many stairs are a big problem for people with stiff knees. Any privacy in the bedroom part of the house is hard to find. As long as the weather is good, it is fine. A nice pool and plenty of shade. It is quiet. You could also say extinct. A ride to the nearest supermarche is also about 30 minutes. Furnishing was good. Crockery and cutlery sufficiently available. The photos from the catalog were made very positive. In any case, we have misunderstood it phenomenally.

It was searching where we had to report for the key and after a few laps we ran into the owner. We have been received very welcome. The accommodation was super nice at first sight. The area is very beautiful and relaxing.

Well received by the owner. Nice and quiet house in wooded area and at 200m walking distance from the village. Daily maintenance of the pool. Cultural trips, kayaking, ... on a three-quarter hour drive. Food festival on Friday evening during the high season. Top holiday.

Real holiday in beautiful area, peace and privacy, deeper, between trees located house which "night shade faster, cold water pool, nice base for day trips - there is to see really much beauty and do

Micoulaud is a very special house to stay. The in a house with history, but inside equipped with everything you need. A beautiful quiet place on the hill at Besse in the Dordogne. From the house you can walk fine in omgeving.Een lovely pool with spacious terrace makes it a real holiday for sure yet come back into it.

The location of the house meets expectations. Secluded and quiet. However, if you consider the equipment, the mood drops. The bedrooms are directly under the roof. The heat (average +30°C) accumulates perfectly under the wooden beams. It would be torture to start trying to sleep there. So you build yourself - like in a camp - a place to sleep out of mattresses in the living room to somehow have a tolerable temperature at night. The mattresses are so saggy that a hammock ensures a straighter back position. The back pain is terrible. The dried blood stains on the duvet covers were especially disgusting!!! Can it get any more unhygienic?! The bathroom looks renovated, but the toilet seat is broken and always threatens to fall off. In addition, the wooden beams in the bathroom are moldy. As an asthmatic, this is an extremely unpleasant situation. Especially since the ants in the bathroom do the rest. Disgusting! An additional questionable issue is waste disposal. The gentleman on site said that this is disposed of by the person who starts the pool robot every morning. Well, the pool robot does its job every morning, the garbage bags keep piling up. Considering the two-week stay, it will certainly smell very unpleasant soon. Speaking of the pool. For the most part, the loungers are so worn that the armrests are more likely to break. The conditions are torn and make a very unhygienic impression. The first umbrella stand was broken upon arrival. This lined up right next to the bench that was already in use, which is on the small terrace by the kitchen. All in all, one can summarize that 4000 € rent for a two-week stay is a bottomless cheek, considering the listed defects in the house! We are talking about the most basic hygiene and comfort requirements! The house isn't even worth a quarter of the money! I can

A lovely private nature resort, the house has everything you need to make it comfortable. Good itinerary, friendly welcome with flowers. Time stands still here. You will have a short drive for groceries. Enjoyed the flea and rommelmarkten.Je should be fine with mobility problems, many steps in this authentic house. The swimming pool maintenance is done by the owner.

Beautiful medieval house. Highly recommended if you want to relax with your family. Beautiful swimming pool where our girls had a lot of fun despite the (still) cold water. Very friendly owner and caretakers (garden / pool). The location is remote but can make beautiful trips by car, plenty to do and see. We will definitely come again! Our cat loved it too!

A fantastic location to enjoy in peace. A typical French house with thick walls, so cool. Attractively furnished and equipped. The terrace adjacent to the large kitchen, is ideal for breakfast. The pool terrace is spacious. With shops 6 km in Villefranche, and a supermarket a little further, means that planned shopping is wise. With everything in the house you do not want to leave the whole week; that is really relaxing vacation!

Lovely peaceful surroundings. But depending on the neighbors in the neighboring house. This house is totally unsuitable for people with mobility problems. Inside is nothing floor and out a lot of stairs.

Upon arrival just have to search for the address of the owner (was different than indicated), but just inquiring in the village was sufficient. So many people don't live there :-). Accommodation is fine as described. Lots of privacy. Every other day the swimming pool was cleaned by placing the vacuum cleaner robot in it, and watering the plants. This happened so early that we didn't notice it. The many trees provide enough shade around the pool. Drive far for groceries. There is also no baker (anymore) in the village. To visit: Domme, Rocamadour, Monpazier, Sarlat (though busy nowadays on Saturdays), Bonaguil castle is also recommended.

It took a while to find the holiday home, but we got there with the coordinates. From the mail contact with the owner we had not understood that we had to collect the key from him. After a phone call, someone immediately came to bring the key. The house was beautiful and cozy. Too bad that the water of the pool was not so hot so that we could enjoy it more. The area is nice and quiet. We enjoyed the silence.

A charming, secluded (apparently medieval) house. Walls a meter thick, constructed of old stones. Walking and cycling in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Everywhere deer. But sometimes a dangerous dog on the road. We met again in terms of a bad week. But in sunny weather it is here with the clean pool and excellent terrace are sweeter.

The reception was good. The house was looking for a while, but the owner offered to drive there from the village together. The house is beautiful and breathes history. The place in the forest is very beautiful and peaceful.

Very well restored house with all the comforts, located in the middle of the woods which ensures calm and tranquility. Super friendly owner. The only thing missing is a "book" with telephone numbers, good addresses, places to visit, markets, etc... Successful holidays which allowed us to "disconnect"!
