Our chalet
Our cosy 4-star chalet with tiled stove for up to 8 people offers all the comforts for your perfect holiday in the mountains and is located above Kaltenbach about 5 minutes from the valley station of the Hochzillertal cable car. The holiday home is traditionally furnished in Tyrolean style and thus exudes a very special cosy atmosphere. The house has 4 bedrooms, a cosy living room with an open kitchen. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine and invites you to cook and enjoy. There is also a large tiled stove and a dining area in the kitchen. On the lower floor there is a sauna which provides the necessary relaxation after a strenuous day of skiing. The holiday chalet is ideally situated, on the one hand quietly on the slope with a wonderful view of the Zillertal, on the other hand centrally with its proximity to the skiing area and to the centre of Kaltenbach with its numerous restaurants and bars. The house is quietly located above Kaltenbach about 5 minutes from the Hochzillertal cable car. The Zillertal is the widest and best known valley in Tyrol. Only 40 kilometers east of Innsbruck, it stretches near Jenbach from the Inntal with its 32 kilometers of length almost straight towards the south
A total of 640 kilometres of pistes make up a ski area of the highest quality. The Zillertal ski areas offer deep snow slopes and perfectly groomed pistes, ideal for carving and gliding, as well as challenging mogul pistes and Austria's steepest downhill run, "Harakiri", with a gradient of 78%. Floodlit pistes make it possible to ski in the evening and the Hintertux Glacier invites you to enjoy skiing 365 days a year. Kaltenbach is located at the entrance of the most active valley in the world and forms the holiday paradise "First Holiday Region Zillertal" with the well-known winter sports resorts Fügen/Hochfügen and Kaltenbach. The region comprises a total of 12 resorts, which fully meet the individual requirements of guests from all over the world and Gerlos offer a coherent winter wellness offer. 166 perfectly groomed kilometres of pistes and 51 lifts from 1300 metres to 2505 metres above sea level will thrill you from the beginning of December until Easter. In the ski and snowboard schools or in the guest kindergarten "Arena Kid's Club with Billy" you know your little ones optimally Hippach belongs to the Ski and Glacier World Zillertal 3000 and enchants you with a total of 227 kilometres of slopes. This includes the ski areas on the Penken and Ahorn with ideal conditions for beginners, families and professionals. This is guaranteed by the Ahornbahn, the largest reversible aerial tramway in Austria, the Penkenbahn, whose valley station is located directly in Mayrhofen or the Horbergbahn, with which you can reach the ski area on the Penken and Horberg , Tux and Hintertux are located in the middle of the Ski and Glacier World Zillertal 3000 and are the highest ski area in the Zillertal. Chalet Katharina
Beautiful and tastefully decorated house. Very cosy and clean. Room in the basement unfortunately a little damp.
However, the price was right!
Overall verdict: Highly recommended
The caretaker Josef is very friendly and nice!
recommend for: holiday with children, holiday with pet, romantic holiday
Vicinity of the holiday home: Sehr naturgeprägt, schöne Aussicht und reine Luft.
free time activities: Ohne Auto wäre man leider aufgeschmissen. Trotzdem Freibad Stumm und Thermen Fügen sehr empfehlenswert. Zahlreiche malerische Dörfer in der Umgebung.
shopping facilities: Supermarkt vorhanden, jedoch nicht günstig. Lieber im weiteren Umland einkaufen.
