Description
"Moin und hallo" in our holiday home "Auszeit am See". This modernly furnished non-smoking log cabin from 2010 in the private Seepark Eiken in Emsland is perfect for a relaxing and varied holiday with family or friends. Your four-legged friend is also very welcome, our property is fully fenced. In addition to the bathing lake, the park grounds also offer a miniature golf course and a children's playground. In the main house of the park, you can reserve the swimming pool with sauna for your sole use for a small fee.
Our house:
The garden offers various seating options under the covered terrace or in the original North Sea beach chair. You can store your bicycles in the garden shed. The garden equipment includes garden furniture, sun loungers and a charcoal grill. Through a separate gate, you can reach the bathing lake in just a few steps.
On the ground floor of the house, you enter the living area with living and dining room as well as the open kitchen via the hallway. The living room with its pellet stove and large leather couch invites you to linger. On the 50-inch flat screen TV you can watch TV, stream a movie via your Amazon account or watch a BluRay/DVD. The hi-fi system can be paired with your mobile device via Bluetooth to play your favourite music. The kitchen is fully equipped. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with shower and bathtub and the utility room with washing machine and dryer.
A wooden staircase leads from the hallway to the upper floor. Here are the two bedrooms. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed with extra-thick comfort mattresses. Here you will find another TV set, also with Amazon fire TV. From this room you can access the large balcony with a wonderful view over the lake. In the second bedroom you will find a double bed and a single bed. There is also a WC between the two bedrooms.

With its proximity to the North Sea and the border to the Netherlands, Emsland is the starting point for a wide range of activities. On the long-distance cycle paths along the Ems, you can enjoy nature on extended bike tours. Papenburg with its old canals and ship replicas invites you to stroll around. The Meyer shipyard, where many a cruise giant sees the light of day, is world-famous. Also worth a visit are the East Frisian town of Leer with its picturesque old town, small shops and cosy tea rooms, and the historic Bourtange Fortress just over the Dutch border. Other worthwhile destinations include the Schloss Dankern amusement park, the Emslandring go-kart track (onroad/offroad) also in Dankern, or the Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen (NL).
Directly in the Seepark, the "Seestübchen" has a menu with international dishes. Everyone gets their money's worth here. The village of Walchum offers the most important shopping facilities at a short distance from the Seepark, including a local grocer, bakery, ATM or petrol station with a workshop. Even more shopping opportunities can be found in the larger surrounding villages of Dörpen and Lathen.

Had a nice vacation
We had a very nice vacation here. Even the weather played along for January. Very nice for going on walks. There is a paved path around the lake. Shopping possibilities can be reached in a few minutes by car. The pellet stove was sensational in the evenings. This was not our last vacation here.

Time out at the lake
When you enter the house, you immediately feel at home. The equipment is excellent and high quality. Only the ants were a bit annoying, but that's called "nature".
We recommend this accommodation for those seeking peace and quiet.

Timeout at the lake
Dear Martens family, we were able to enjoy our stay in your beautiful house from the first moment. Everything was perfectly prepared, sparkling clean and we didn't really miss anything. We found the labeling with labels helpful. Mrs. Bartnick welcomed us very friendly, provided us with many tips and also said goodbye nicely when we left. We are looking forward to coming back.

Short holiday
We booked the house spontaneously to visit some Christmas markets in the area.
The Christmas market in Meppen was the most beautiful.
The house is very clean and comfortably furnished. Nothing is missing. As it was very cold
the pellet stove provided us with cosy warmth.
We received a friendly welcome from Mrs Bartnick and a friendly farewell on departure.
We met the nice Martens family in the summer and were able to visit the house in advance

Super Haus mit tollen Garten.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl im Ferienhaus gefüllt. Der Garten mit den vielen Sitzgelegenheiten war einfach super. Man kann ausgiebige Spaziergänge unternehmen. Wir sind auch toll Betreut und Beraten worden. Können das Haus in jeder Hinsicht weiter empfehlen. Werden Bestimmt das Haus für nächstes Jahr Wieder Buchen. LG B.Weiss

Klasse Unterkunft in toller Lage
Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern zu sehen, sehr sauber und top ausgestattet; es fehlt nichts. Uns gefällt dieser Hausstiel sehr gut. Im Außenbereich sind um das ganze Haus Sitzmöglichkeiten, so dass man von morgens bis abends die Sonne genießen kann, oder aber auch Schatten haben kann.
Zur Abkühlung geht's in ein paar Schritten ins saubere Wasser.
Eine Hausverwalterin, die in der Anlage wohnt, hat uns sehr nett in Empfang genommen und sich auch vor der Abreise erkundigt, ob alles i.O. ist. Ferner ist sie bei Problemen jederzeit ansprechbar.
Die Umgebung eignet sich aus unserer Sicht auch sehr gut zum Fahrradfahren.
Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und werden bestimmt nochmals dort hinfahren.

Auszeit am See - der Titel ist Programm
Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig und nur wenige Meter vom Badesee entfernt. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und gepflegt. Es ist alles da, was man für einen tollen und erholsamen Urlaub braucht, Strandkorb, Liegen, eingezäunten Garten für den Hund.
Besonders möchten wir auch die tollen Betten erwähnen. Wir haben ganz toll und lange geschlafen.
Vielen Dank nochmals an Familie Martens als Vermieter und auch Frau Bartnick, die uns vorort betreut hat.

Unsere „Auszeit am See“
Wir verbrachten eine Woche in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten und top ausgestatteten Ferienhaus.
Es war alles sehr sauber,- wie neu!
Der Strandkorb war eins unserer Highlights.
Wir haben die Zeit im Haus genauso genossen wie die Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Es gibt wirklich schöne Ausflugsziele unweit entfernt.

Empfehlenswertes Haus in toller Ferienanlage!
Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus in toller Lage. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, es fehlt an nichts. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.
Der Garten war sowohl für unseren Hund als auch für unsere Kinder ein Highlight. Am liebsten haben wir den Tag mit einer Tasse Kaffee am Balkon begonnen und dabei den Sonnenaufgang zugeschaut.
Die Umgebung lädt zum Fahrrad fahren ein und bietet viele lohnende Ausflugsziele.
Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen und sie ging wie im Fluge vorüber.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wunderschöner Kurzurlaub
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, so ein sauberes und gemütlich eingerichtetes Ferienhaus haben wir noch nie erlebt. Auch der Ferienpark ist sehr sauber, Badesee direkt vor der Türe und das Restaurant hat sehr leckeres Essen und angemessene Preise.
Unser Enkel meint, es wäre ein cooler Urlaub.

Wirklich eine "Auszeit am See"
Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und der Blick auf den See besonders morgens einfach herrlich. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Kann die "Auszeit am See" nur weiterempfehlen.
Das einzig negative an diesem Urlaub war, das er leider viel zu schnell vorbei war ?

Super Urlaub, spitzenmäßiges Haus
Es ist ein sehr schönes und voll ausgestattetes Haus. Da fehlt wirklich nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist super. Man hat nur einige Schritte bis zum See. Es war eine super tolle Woche und werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen.

It doesn't get any better than this!
We go on holiday quite often, both package tours and individually, both abroad and in Germany. It was one of the best accommodations we have had so far. You felt very comfortable from the start and missed absolutely nothing. Our daughter and grandchildren were also very sorry that the week was over so quickly. We will definitely book again.

Liebe Frau Martens, lieber Herr Martens,
leider wurde unser Urlaub durch die Unwetter über Deutschland etwas beeinträchtigt. Aber durch diesen Umstand konnten wir die vielen Annehmlichkeiten Ihres Ferienhauses ganz besonders genießen. Die liebevolle Einrichtung und die Aufteilung der Räume haben uns zum Relaxen eingeladen.
Durch Ihre zahlreichen, tollen Ausflugstipps konnten wir trotz des wechselhaften Wetters, die schönen Orte in der Umgebung kennenlernen.
