Welcome to the Südstrand holiday home in Göhren on Rügen. The stylish white villa combines modern architecture with classic spa style and a particularly beautiful location on the edge of the Baltic Sea resort.
Here you enjoy peace, nature, and plenty of space to breathe, while still reaching everything easily on foot. Only about a 3-4 minute walk separates you from the town center and the South Beach; the North Beach can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. Restaurants, cafés, shops, and the sea are practically on your doorstep. You can leave your car parked during your holiday.

A special highlight of the holiday home are the idyllic terraces. From here you enjoy a wonderful view over the hilly landscape typical of Mönchgut, with its green meadows and sheep pastures, all the way to the deep blue Baltic Sea.
Especially in the morning or evening, this is a perfect place to relax. A coffee with a view of the sea, a good book in the sun, or a glass of wine after an eventful day: the terraces make your holiday that much nicer.

**Arrive and Unwind**
The booking and arrival were already problem-free. The house with apartment No. 3 is quietly located on the outskirts, is spacious and well-equipped, clean, has 2 terraces!, a washing machine and dryer in the basement, a bike storage area, a designated parking space at the house, and we immediately felt completely comfortable! The paths to the village and to one of the two beaches are short, and there are plenty of bakeries, shopping options, stores, cafés, and restaurants that are quickly accessible. The tips from the Schäfer family were all very good!
We had wonderful 3 weeks with all kinds of weather, sheep in the meadow next door, and even a deer in the garden. The South Beach is very natural and beautiful, and at the North Beach, there are beach chairs, the promenade, and the spa square.
We ate very well and enjoyed delicious cakes and fish sandwiches!
With the bike, you can take beautiful tours in the surrounding area. And trips to the north and to Hiddensee are a must! We highly recommend apartment No. 3 and the island of Rügen as well! !

Super holiday apartment
The booking of the holiday apartment went - despite a last-minute request on the weekend - quickly, friendly, and uncomplicated. The furnishings of the apartment offered everything needed for a vacation. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Personally, I also liked the option to bring my own bed linen and towels or to order them upon request. The location of the accommodation is close to the beach, the Baltic Sea is partially visible, and the sound of the sea (with the window open) can be heard. The bakery, with a large selection (and super delicious rolls) is only a few minutes away. There is also the possibility to have breakfast or drink coffee on-site, which we did not take advantage of due to the very good kitchen facilities. The slightly hilly terrain and the beach invite for walks and are also fascinating in the snow. Unfortunately, we lacked the time (Friday evening to Sunday morning) to do more, but we will definitely change that on our next visit. Just a few kilometers away is Sellin, also a very worth-seeing Baltic Sea typical place with the famous pier. All in all, we were able to spend a very relaxed, restorative weekend that awaits repetition. The Baltic Sea is worth it even in winter, provided you choose - like we did - accommodation where you can really make yourself comfortable after nightfall. . . . .

Great apartment to feel comfortable!
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. The apartment is modernly furnished, very well-kept, and nothing is missing! On the terrace, you have a nice view and can see the Baltic Sea in the distance. We will come back!

Die Tipps von der Familie Schäfer waren alle sehr gut!
Wir hatten wunderbare 3 Wochen mit allen Wetterlagen, auf der Wiese nebenan Schafe und auch ein Reh im Garten. Der Südstrand ist sehr naturbelassen und schön und am Nordstrand hat man Strandkörbe, die Promenade und den Kurplatz.
Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und leckere Kuchen und Fischbrötchen genossen!
Mit dem Rad kann man schöne Touren in die Umgebung machen. Und Ausflüge in den Norden und auf Hiddensee sind ein Muss!
Wir empfehlen sehr gern die Wohnung Nr. 3 weiter und die Insel Rügen sowieso!!
Die Ausstattung der Wohnung bot alles, was im Urlaub gebraucht wird. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Mir persönlich gefiel auch die Möglichkeit eigene Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen zu können oder auf Anfrage zu bestellen.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist strandnah, die Ostsee ist teilweise zu sehen und das Meeresrauschen (bei offenem Fenster)zu hören.
Der Bäcker, mit einer grossen Auswahl (und super leckeren Brötchen) ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, vor Ort zu frühstücken oder Kaffee zu trinken, was wir allerdings aufgrund der sehr guten Küchenausstattung nicht genutzt haben.
Das leicht hügelige Gelände und der Strand lädt zu Spaziergängen ein und ist auch bei Schnee faszinierend.
Leider fehlte uns die Zeit ( Freitag Abend bis Sonntag vormittag) noch mehr zu unternehmen,
aber das werden wir beim nächsten Besuch sicher ändern.
Nur wenige Kilometer entfernt liegt Sellin, ebenfalls ein sehr sehenswerter ostseetypischer Ort mit der bekannten Seebrücke.
Alles in allem durften wir ein sehr entspanntes, erholsames und auf Wiederholung wartendes Wochenende verbringen. Die Ostsee lohnt sich also auch im Winter, vorausgesetzt man wählt- wie wir- eine Unterkunft, wo man es sich auch nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit so richtig gemütlich machen kann.....
ABER es gibt einige Kritikpunkte: Kein Grundriss, der Kenntnis über Raumaufteilung und Größe der Wohnung gibt. Fensterloses, sehr schmales Bad mit weniger als 3 qm, die winzige Duschkabine mit gerade mal 74 cm Duschtasse verlangt vom Nutzer akrobatische Fähigkeiten, um an die Füße zu kommen ohne sich zu stoßen. Im engen, sehr kleinen Schlafzimmer (ca. 6 qm) blieben für die Umrundung der 160 cm breiten Liegefläche knappe 30 cm seitlich bis 40 cm am Fußende. Fehlender Platz im schmalen Kleiderschrank (ca. 90 cm breit) für eigene, auf Bügeln mitgebrachte Kleidungsstücke, denn die im Schrank vorhandenen waren fest mit der Stange verbunden. Fehlende Hängemöglichkeiten für Kleidung, es gab nur zwei kleine Garderobenhaken. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden in einer 4-Sterne Ferienwohnung üblicherweise kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt, hier war zu dem Tagespreis von 149 € ein Aufpreis von 40,-€ fällig. Umfang des „Wäschepaketes“ bestand lediglich aus 1 (!) Geschirrtuch, Bettwäsche für das Doppelbett, 1 (!) Dusch- und 1 (!) normal großen Handtuch pro Person. Die Anfrage beim Vermieter nach einem weiteren Handtuch pro Person blieb unerfüllt.
Eine Rolle einlagiges Toilettenpapier für 2 Personen für 8 Tage. Die Anfrage beim Hausmeisterservice nach einer weiteren Rolle wurde ignoriert. Kein Ostseeblick. Kein Pool im Haus.
Best-Preisgarantie nimmt der Vermieter nicht so genau. Kurz vor unserem Restzahlungstermin fand ich zufällig auf der Homepage des Vermieters einen um 10 € geringeren Tagespreis für unseren Reisezeitraum. Nach einigem Hin und Her wurde uns der noch zu zahlende Restbetrag ermäßigt, allerdings nicht in der Größenordnung, die es aufgrund der Garantie hätte sein müssen.
Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Highlight für die Kinder war zudem der fast tägliche Besuch der Schafe aus dem Biosphärenreservat, welche bis an den Gartenzaun kommen.
Hervorzuheben ist auch der sehr nette Kontakt zu den Vermietern, welche bei Fragen und Problemen immer weitergeholfen haben. Vielen Dank nochmal hierfür, wie auch für die vielen Ausflugstipps.
Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen.
Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Für uns drei ist die Wohnung perfekt gewesen.

Ursprünglich hatte ich die Ferienwohnung im Haus Südstrand gemietet, wurde aber wegen kurzfristig Malerarbeiten ohne Aufpreis in die Wohnung vom Dünenhaus umgebucht, welche direkt gegenüber liegt und was ich als sehr nette Geste hervorheben möchte.
Wegen der eigentlichen Buchung der Ferienwohnung Südstrand, kann ich nur hier meine Bewertung schreiben.

Lage sehr gut, angenehm ruhig und zugleich fußläufig zum Zentrum Göhren
und auch zum Strand.

Das Erlebnisbad war für unsere Kinder das größte

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, aber nicht abgelegen. Zum Zentrum von Göhren 3 Minuten
Die Betten sind perfekt und bequem, der Bäcker belieferte uns mit frischen Brötchen. Wir konnten viele Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad unternehmen und die tolle Landschaft genießen.
Gute Einkehrmöglichkeiten gibt es ja auch ringsum, an den frischen Fisch würden wir uns gerne gewöhnen. In der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt und die Sauna war groß und gerräumig
