When describing the surroundings of the Baltic seaside resort of Goehren, even the author of this website gets carried away. The picturesque Baltic seaside resort is located on the beautiful Mönchgut peninsula, on a promontory that juts far out into the sea, the Göhrener Höft. The sophisticated flair of the Baltic seaside resort of Göhren, situated on a promontory directly on the coast, offers the ideal environment for your dream holiday. Two golden and very clean sandy beaches, each about 6 kilometres long, numerous cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities, the villas of the picturesque village lovingly restored and newly built in ornate seaside resort architecture make the Baltic resort of Göhren one of the most popular holiday resorts on the sunny island of Rügen. The completely traffic-calmed village is the optimal starting point for your bathing holiday as well as for your excursions and hikes. The varied landscape of the Mönchgut opens up right on the doorstep, providing the perfect backdrop for extensive discovery tours. Embedded in the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, the Mönchgut is for many the most beautiful part of the sunny island. The wide landscape framed by the deep blue Baltic Sea is criss-crossed by calm Bodden waters and garnished by small mountain ranges, such as the Zicker Mountains, and bizarre headlands, such as the Reddevitzer Höft. Excursion steamers dock regularly at the Göhren pier. The beautiful spa gardens of the Baltic resort with water features, a Kneipp pool and the "Kurmuschel" (spa shell), where concerts are regularly held in the summer months, are also located at the pier. The amber promenade also begins in the spa park and stretches along Goehren's northern beach via Baabe to the Baltic resort of Sellin. Near the amber promenade is also the terminus of the Rasender Roland, the historic, steam-driven Rügen miniature railway. With it, you can discover many sights on a leisurely ride and enjoy the flair of days gone by. On the route between Göhren, Sellin, Binz Putbus and Lauterbach, you can experience the pure romance of the narrow-gauge railway and enjoy the beautiful landscape on the approx. 27 km long route. The apartment was really nice, quiet area, even though we booked very last minute, the landlords were very friendly and took care of everything in no time. The apartment was clean, everything was as described. The beach was just a stone's throw away. Thank you very much!

Super beautiful...
Great amenities, close to the beach, close to the city...we felt very comfortable with our daughter (15 years old). We went swimming in the associated pool. Shops are within walking distance, as well as the South Beach. We want to come back soon. Thank you.

You can enjoy your holiday in this flat. The comfort was top. We enjoyed the swimming pool very much. The location is very quiet and yet you can reach the beach and the restaurants in a few minutes. The furnishing of the flat is very upscale, nothing is missing, we can only recommend this flat.

We were looking for relaxation and peace on Rügen. This beautiful vacation apartment, along with the great weather, contributed greatly to our well-being and relaxation. We enjoyed coming back here every day after our excursions. We lacked nothing and had plenty of space. The apartment's equipment is excellent. We didn't miss anything and certainly only needed half as much as was available. There is even an iron and ironing board. The mattresses were good too! The house is very quietly situated, but not secluded. 3 minutes to the center of Göhren, 5 minutes to the beach.

Great winter vacation
We really enjoyed our vacation in this beautiful apartment. The beds are perfect and comfortable, the baker delivered fresh bread to us. We could go on many cycling trips and enjoy the great landscape. There are also good dining options all around, and we would love to get used to the fresh fish. The apartment had everything we needed, and the sauna was big and spacious.
