Great house. Not overly fancy or clean. Nice field behind the houses. Shops wonderfully close. Park a bit outdated.

The cottage is quietly located. With a nice green garden with toys. Children could play with the neighbours. 2 supermarkets close by! Very nice town of Franeker!
But the facilities is not so clear on the website. We thought a park with swimming pool, playground, fitness, bowling, wow great! But apparently all facilities had to be paid for.

The arrival went fine, very friendly and helpful people at reception. The accommodation was better than we expected - which was a pleasant surprise. Terrace with large (shared) lawn behind the accommodation was very nice. The environment was fine.

House was not clean and it smelled. It seemed as if there had been smoking and as if it had been masked with a spray. Mattresses were smelly and dirty. The same evening they were cleaned and the next day we could move to another house. This one was cleaner. Cottages are outdated. Kitchen was not complete.Fortunately, well resolved by the park. For the rest a neat park. Good restaurant. Nice staff, reception and restaurant.Environment nice. Close to the beach. Nice villages.
