Surprisingly good food in the restaurant. From here you can hike and cycle use. Franeker the evening is very very quiet.

The accommodation was small but perfectly fine. It could have been cleaner and the furniture is showing its age. On the positive side, it is very quiet. Hardly anything can be heard from the neighbors. I would also book accommodation in the holiday park again.

Our stay in Franeker was a good choice. A nice city walk which is made of highly recommended. Finally, also once visited the famous planetarium. And train you so vibrant Leeuwarden. Aquazoo is also easily accessible by car. It was a great cultural trip for a few days.

The house stands in a large series with 20 other houses - but is well soundproofed. The place is very nice and well kept and the staff friendly and helpful. Only the cleanliness of the house was a shortage - even after the kitchen had been nachgeputzt again, I have even again the dishes and scrubbed the cabinets that we have used in the week. In addition, it is noticeable that there are many guests are there with pets. Therefore the house is a little "worn" For us cycling trips Bloemketerp is a good starting point, since one is fast on the highway (10 minutes to the sea, about 20 min to various cities).. Friesland is very charming and it is a nice area to relax.

The house was quiet and well equipped. It is conveniently technically very good (5 minutes from the motorway), so represent trips to Harlingen or Leuuwarden no problem. The sports facilities (fitness, tennis / squash courts, sauna, swimming) is very good, but could the sauna to be expanded in the evening hours. Otherwise, the house is highly recommended.

Franeker is a beautiful city, the area is ideal for great Spatziergängen and Städtebummel, we met only friendly people. The sea is not far, Harlingen is a very beautiful port city and the ferry you can go to Terschelling, which is well worth discovering. We had unserern dog with us and he was really welcome everywhere.

The apartment in Franeker has an excellent location in relation to the center of Franeker. The swimming pool is also located on the property and the AH and Lidl are around the corner. Our apartment had no windows at the front, and looked more like the garage of the larger houses that adjoin it on either side. This was not clear from the photos when booking. However, the apartment does have beautiful sliding doors to a playing field at the rear. Everything was neat and clean, had a great holiday.
